"Age Attestation on Computing Devices" (Colorado State Bill 26-051) would require age verification on all Operating Systems (both Open Source and proprietary), with fines for violations.

Would affect MacOS, FreeBSD, Redox, Haiku, React, or everything/anything else you could name or imagine.
You’ll need 5 forms of ID in order to use electronic devices (other than electronic voting machines).
Ping for your pings - Win/Lin/Mac.
I bet this will also impact mobile OSs; iOS, Android, and Linux.
There is a ton of irony there if the only computer you don’t need ID for is a voting machine.
They figured out that people were using VPN to get around the porn ban and now they want to move the verification up 2 steps. To of course an even more impossible place. People who don’t understand technology really shouldn’t try to govern it.
These idiots are ON DRUGS
Exactly! Still don’t need ID or age verification to vote according to Democrats.
And in some jurisdictions, species identification not required either.
Wouldn’t it be easier to mandate that all computing equipment be painted yellow? For “caution”, of course.
Thank goodness they can still vote Dem in the elections without ID, though.
These people really have no idea how computers work, do they? Or open-source software?
Wait and see. That’s what they’ll come up next when they realize this isn’t going to work like they think it will. “License to purchase and operate a computer.”
They will reason that it’s what’s done for motor vehicles. So why not computing devices?
Any pictures of these Colorado Morons ? LOL
One of the best things about the Internet is your ability to remain anonymous. I’ve had Mozlems make all kinds of threats against me but I knew they couldn’t do a damn thing because they had no idea who I was or where I was . This law is just another attempt to control us again.
Wait is this so their Pedophile Friends can find Children faster ?

This book from 2004 carefully details how Hillary saw the danger (to the left) of a free and open internet. It’s amazing how many things in the book are slowly becoming true.
Sad but true.
Apparently not.
I’m an older adult & I know some younger people I can learn from. This seems to me more like a gimmick to raise funds. Seeing as how this is coming out of Colorado leaves little doubt as to which group is contemplating this.
Age verification really has nothing to do with porn. That's only how they're selling it to the masses.
What they really hope to accomplish is to compel people to post on social media sites under their real names, real names that can be traced to workplaces.
There will be far fewer "problematic tweets" when people can no longer post their opinions anonymously.
