Russia Could Launch Nuclear Strikes on France, UK if They Arm Kiev with Nukes — Medvedev
TASS ^ | 2/24/26

"This is the proportional response that Russia has the right to," the Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman stressed

MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. A nuclear strike on targets in Ukraine, as well as in France and the United Kingdom, would be considered lawful and justified in the event that London and Paris provide Kiev with nuclear capabilities, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said on Max, commenting on Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service’s (SVR) reports about such plans by the two European countries.

According to Medvedev, this information "radically changes the situation." "This is a direct transfer of nuclear weapons to a country at war," he said. "There cannot be a shred of doubt that in this case, Russia would have to use all weapons, including non-strategic nuclear ones, to strike targets in Ukraine that pose a threat to our country," he emphasized.

"And if necessary, in the supplying countries as well, as they become accomplices in the nuclear conflict with Russia," Medvedev added. "This is the proportional response that Russia has the right to," he concluded.

Earlier, the SVR reported that London and Paris believe that Kiev’s negotiating position could improve if it receives a "Wunderwaffe," which is German for "miracle weapon". The European capitals consider it to be nuclear or so-called dirty bombs. According to the Russian intelligence agency, France and the UK are actively working on a covert transfer of European-made components, equipment, and technologies to Ukraine, including a French small-size warhead from a submarine-launched ballistic missile.

If France and UK are that dumb, they are on their own in dealing with Russia.

Drivel

Medvedev sees the end of his time writing on the wall.

Given the condition of his weapons stock pile, he should fear detonation of the nuc on the missile launch pad.

So far the only ones advocating the use of nuclear weapons has been the Russians, which they seem to do with some regularity .

This whole Russia - Ukraine thing is just a family fight.
Y’all know a Kyiv emperor started Russia by setting one of his sons up as it ruler? History study is a good minor at university.
Everyone knows you never get in the middle of a family fight as the family will turn on YOU!

Trump must keep his campaign promise and stop this war immediately. Cut off any further funding, weapons, and intelligence to Ukraine. Give Russia the four provinces and Crimea. Russia will accept this deal, contrary to what Lindsey Graham and the other warmongers have to say. The Republicans will get wiped out in the mid-terms if this war escalates.

Yup, just like when Russia invaded Poland in WW2, just a "family fight" between the Slavs. Okay

FOUR YEARS OF FAILURE FOR RUSSIA

- 300,000 dead Russian troops
- 900,000 injured
- another 1 million well-educated Russian citizens fled the country
- Russia now bogged-down (was able to steal only 0.8% of Ukraine’s land in 2025)
- 1/3 of Black Sea Fleet destroyed
- multiple refineries on fire on any given day
- Sovereign Wealth Fund all used up
- Russian economy deteriorating
- Putin’s pals being removed (Syria, Venezuela, plus Iran in a few weeks)

Simply put, Russia cannot win this war. And Ukraine isn’t surrendering.

Fifth Year of Failure starts today.

It is my understanding that it would violate the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

“Simply put, Russia cannot win this war.”

People of other nations can do whatever an American can do. The Chinese have unmatched industrial might.

Could the US military beat Ukraine? Yes!

Could the US military take the rest of Donetsk? Yes!

You mean like the way Russia is helping Iran get The Bomb, in return for supplying Russia will all those drones?
