Let us hope that they fix the raw sewage flood in DC before then.

Must keep April 25th in mind. On April 25th 1976 Rick Monday saved the American Flag from being burned by two democrats.

I’ve been researching events as well. So far, it’s fairly disheartening. From what I can tell 2026, in comparison to 1976 is pathetic. It’s sad our country, our culture, our population and our movers & shakers care so little to celebrate the 250 milestone.

You said it!

Recently I overhead a couple of sixtysomething guys discussing the upcoming event. One of them mused how big the celebration was in 1976 and how everyone was in on it. "And now, if you wave an American flag, they think you're a Nazi."

Sadly I won’t be there on Independence Day, but in late July I’m taking my young nephews to Colonial Williamsburg for vacation, and to try to instill some Patriotism in them.

Maybe we can finally declare independence from the Central Banking System and its London partners.

So much negativity and division have taken their toll. It is a shame. I remember the bicentennial very well, and I can hardly believe it was fifty years ago.

I completely agree. The apathy is saddening. But it's even worse than that. A sizable percentage of the country is actively tearing it down -- the last thing they'd do is celebrate its birth. They will do everything they can to prevent celebration.

It's a freakin' travesty. I was in Philly in 1976 for 200 and the memory is still with me. I'll hold onto that while we try to pull something together for 250.

America 250 coinciding with events like the Somali fraud is not exactly one of those puff out your chest because your 250 years old kind of thing..

It’s more like a let’s get to the rat killing so we can celebrate after the obliteration and draining is finished.

I wouldn’t travel to the domestic and foreign enemy occupied territory of DC to take a schiff.

One would think there'd be things happening at Lexington and Concord...which are within driving distance of my house. Of course our lesbian Maoist Governor will be there and I,for one, will be wearing my Veterans For Trump t-shirt and booing her loudly when she's introduced.

And after that I'm sure I'll spend some time in State Police custody...the same Massachusetts State Police that's currently being investigated by the DOJ on *three* different matters!
