A Texas dentist was busted for allegedly performing surgery on a child while drunk – and flunked a sobriety test when staff flagged her suspicious behavior to police, cops said.
Kelly Buck, 36, was arrested Monday afternoon at Pediatric Dentistry of Sherman, about 65 miles north of Dallas, after a staffer noticed she appeared intoxicated while treating a patient and alerted the authorities, according to the Sherman Police Department and the dental practice.
Officers responded around noon and took the allegedly tipsy tooth doc into custody after she showed signs of being boozed up and failed a field sobriety test, police said.

She knows which physicians go the extra mile for their patients and know which physicians drink when they're on call.
There is a huge problem with Dentists that are addicted, usually to pain pills or laughing gas. I know someone who ran a few clinics and you saw it more than you could believe.
Decades ago in South Carolina there was a dentist who got hooked on laughing gas. It was sad whenever he was in the newspaper regarding his addiction.

There isn’t enough booze in the world to get me to be a children’s dentist.
It is a bummer that they don’t tell us what her BAC was.
