Representative Jamie Raskin has said unredacted copies of certain documents in the Epstein files appear to contradict President Donald Trump’s longstanding assertion that he barred the late sex offender from his Florida club. *** the Maryland Democrat said one of the documents he reviewed at the Justice Department’s new satellite office in Washington, D.C., was an email from Jeffrey Epstein to his co‑conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell. He said the email included details relayed by Epstein’s lawyers about a conversation with Trump’s attorneys around 2009. Raskin*** said Trump was quoted as saying that while Epstein was never a member of his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, he had nevertheless been a guest and had “never been asked to leave.”
“And that was redacted for some indeterminate, inscrutable reason,” Raskin added. “It seems to be at odds with some of the things that President Trump has been saying recently about how he had kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club.”
*** “I went over there and I was able to determine, at least I believe, that there were tons of completely unnecessary redactions in addition to the failure to redact the names of victims,” ***. The Democrat added that he and other members of Congress had been given only four computers to review the files, and that he had only been able to see between 30 and 40 on Monday. Separately, on Monday, the Department of Justice unsealed a document detailing a 2019 FBI interview with a former Palm Beach police chief. In the interview, the individual recounts a phone call from Trump in which he described Ghislaine Maxwell as “evil” and said that “people in New York knew Epstein was disgusting.” “Thank goodness you’re stopping him, everyone has known he’s been doing this,” Trump reportedly said.***

Raskin is one of the most loathsome individuals in Congress. He’s up there with Schumer, Schiff, and Crockett.

A most apt observation. One recalls that President Trump "played" the Democrats who at first did not want the files released, and it would not surprise me that no the Democrats demanding more info will add "pressure" for more information. They are playing this game hoping that more information will NOT be forthcoming.
Make up a story and then Trump has to refute it.
If Trump was deep into Epstein that would have come out years ago.
While I think the handling of this was a mess, I do believe that Trump was a peripheral player at best.
Some of the stuff I’ve read from the files are uncorroborated and honestly challenge credulity. I just don’t think they are real.
Now if a woman came forward and gave a deposition stating times and places and names…they should be examined.
The Dems have been rabid about Trump since 2015. I cannot believe they would have sat on this stuff for ten years. Something would have leaked.

It is the drip, drip, drip of sleaze and, no, DJT has not helped himself in the matter. Neither has Blondi or FBI/Justice. It is all going to come out with the possible exception of whether there was real blackmail/government (CIA/FBI/Mossad) involvement.

If there was anything in the Epstein files that implicated POTUS Trump, it would have been leaked long ago.

I stopped reading after Raskin and Newsweek.
All this Epstein crap is a distraction to take the focus off of the tremendous international fraud taking place throughout the country with phony daycares and medical services.
The deep state says, “look here, not there” and everyone on both sides follows right along.
This country is stupid because we have an issue that is a five alarm fire (massive fraud), but instead we spend all of our time talking about Epstein and an “abducted” 84 year old woman.
NAncy Pelosi called it a “Wrap up Smear” No one does it better than the Democrats.
