Daniela was ordered to retake the test on Thursday as the law warns, which would have been frustrating, but not impossible. However, Daniela told NBC6 there were no more appointments left for the day and starting Friday, the state will only allow driver license tests to be administered in English.Standing in the hallway in front of the Miami-Dade Tax Collectors office, a woman cried while holding her drivers license exam results, shortly after being told they weren't enough to receive her physical license card.
Daniela told NBC6 she went through a course, passed her driver license exam, and was told to pick up her license at the collector's office on Thursday. But once she arrived, Daniela said staff told her she was selected by the state of Florida to retake her test.
Per Florida statue, "a customer who takes (and passes) the Class E Knowledge or Class E Driving Skills Test through an authorized Third Party Administrator may be randomly selected for a mandatory re-test without prior notice." The law adds, "After a re-test with a passing score is completed in a driver license or tax collector office, the driver license will be issued."

Yup.
Dedicated cram schools will quickly appear, designed to get people through the written test.
What’s the problem?
If she can’t speak English like EVERYONE ELSE, she doesn’t need a driver’s license because she doesn’t have the ability to ask others for directions.
Good news. Sorry, not sorry.
The media looks awful hard for aliens who have been inconvenienced.
California will be more than happy to issue her a driver’s license in whatever language she prefers. According to Google:
The California DMV offers the written driver’s license knowledge test in over 30 languages, including English, Spanish, Armenian, Chinese, Hindi, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Korean, and Arabic.
Welcome to America! You should have leared the language before you snuck in.
And...?
I can think of a lot of reasons why a driver should be able to read English; but I think you can buy GPS systems that have language settings...
> She should not be on the road. <
There is a video on YouTube where an American cop pulls over a Chinese guy. The Chinese guy evidently has a valid license. But he cannot understand the instructions (in English) that the cop is giving him.
The whole thing spirals out of control. The Chinese guy is taken down, and with some for force. The cop is accused of police brutality.
Could this have been avoided? Sure. Just require that a condition of getting a driver’s license in the US is the ability to speak and understand English.
If you’re going to squat on stolen American soil, you need to lear the language. You don’t need Spanish anymore.
The commie “media’s” illegal alien SOB stories are getting pretty thin. Boring as hell.
She can only take the testing English whilst she’s in the United States? Imagine that!
I accidentally hit “send” before proofreading!^^^

I know a girl who was bilingual. She took the English version of the driving test and failed on technicalities and nonsense stuff like who was the first person killed jn an automobile accident. Her mother told her to go back and take the Spanish version. She did and passed with flying colors. She said the Spanish version was 10 times easier.
“through an authorized Third Party Administrator “
It could be she did not take the test. The Administrator took the test.
We speak English in this country.
