The 83-year-old senator is "grateful" for the care he is receiving, according to his spokesperson.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sen. Mitch McConnell checked himself into a hospital for flu-like symptoms "out of an abundance of caution," his spokesperson said on Tuesday.
