Minecraft is now offering a free downloadable world that drops players into “segregation-era America,” complete with encounters with Rosa Parks and the Greensboro sit-ins, according to an official Minecraft Education blog post.
The DLC world, titled “Lessons in Good Trouble,” is billed as an educational experience built around major civil rights movements in the U.S. and abroad. It’s listed as free on the Minecraft Marketplace.
“From there, students will visit crucial moments in 1960s segregation-era America to meet Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and the activists behind the Greensboro lunch counter sit-ins before visiting the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma,” Minecraft Education’s blog says.

"Discover the meaning of "good trouble" with Congressman John Lewis and journey through time to meet leaders of global civil rights and social justice movements who were catalysts for positive change."
Does Minecraft show the villains in the game as Democrat politicians who imposed the segregation as a way to keep political control?
Is the segregationist Joe Biden in the game, the segregationist who was never asked to denounce white supremacy like Trump was 9,000 times by the likes of Chris Wallace and Savannah Guthrie?
Democrats: Keeping racism alive for profit since 1960.
That’s the demonrat party in a nutshell.
And how about modern voluntary segregation era. Colleges, work places, Somali learing centers.
Can I set up a world in Minecraft that lets you experience urban gang violence?
A lot longer than that.
Segregation and prejudice comes in many shapes and forms, not just the ones that fit the left’s narratives. If you are white, come from a blue collar family without advanced education, and didn’t go to a well recognized prep school, you will be looked down upon in most academic circles - irrespective of how bright and talented you may be.
If as a kid you’ve never been to Europe, and your family vacationed in a campground, there are plenty of liberal social justice warriors that will look upon you as part of the unwashed and ignorant.
These same people will embrace someone from a foreign nation, irrespective of their background, because they are ‘exotic’, and are not part of the American ‘bread and butter’ class.
There are many other kinds of examples, involving people from other backgrounds, so this isn’t a ‘put upon’ complaint. It’s just the opposite. My point is that everyone has a cross to carry, and identity politics has to stop.
They can F-off.
I want to see the part where Jesse Jackson wears Martin’s bloody shirt for two days to “prove” he was heir apparent.

Yes.
You can.
It would be fantastic to see a rise of conservatives putting an end to apathy and creating activist content such as this. I hope to see it in my lifetime.
My thoughts exactly.
White players can experience "Affirmative Action" (so-called "reverse discrimination") for free!

I (a white male with a middle-class background) never went to Europe until I was a mature adult.
Our childhood vacations included Northern Arizona (Grand Canyon, etc.) and Southern California (Disneyland, etc.)—no campgrounds! I won a Navy Science Cruise in Southern California at age 15, too. This included my first airplane trip (on a military plane)!
I went to MIT as an undergraduate—scholarships, student loans, and summer jobs. My loans were paid off by age 35. And I went to Harvard grad school with an NSF Graduate Fellowship.
Nowadays, white male American citizens would be less likely to get into MIT, because of all the female, minority, and non-citizen competition. And there are fewer NSF Graduate Fellowships for those attempting to enter graduate school. Successful applicants are mainly rising college sophomores.
Not so good!

Does it also feature good public schools and walkable neighborhoods where you can leave your doors unlocked?
