Few things better exemplify the inability of the left to tolerate contrary viewpoints than the recent struggle session framed as an "Internal Town Hall" when CNN CEO Mark Thompson was confronted by leftist staffers who claimed they were offended by the existence on their network of conservative commentator Scott Jennings.
It seems they agreed with recent NewsNight guest Cameron Kasky, who arrogantly declared to Jennings that he was somehow not permitted to use the term "illegal alien" despite the fact it is a legal term written into immigration law.

When one side controls the terms of a debate, they win. They’ll redefine the terms and then force you to argue on their terms. Or put another way, if you argue on their terms, you will always lose.
This is why the left refuses to allow conservatives to moderate presidential debates.
Democrats are extremely tolerant of everyone they agree with.

They talk over so that they themselves do not have to hear, to experience the blasphemy, and so that others will not be able to hear what is being said.
I remember once telling a Leftist “the only people I ever talk over are people who talk over me.” He didn’t like it that other people would talk.
I am rooting for Scott Jennings to be shown the door at CNN. The sec he is gone, so are their ratings. That place is barely hanging on.
The funny thing is that the staffers don’t get it. CNN is no longer a loss leader for AT&T. There is no corporate giant backing CNN who is willing to let that network be a cash sucking vortex.
