wInNiNG: China will steal everything they need from Buick before they leave—as they have been doing since they arrived— although why would they need to? The Chinese cars are becoming far better than anything our DEI engineers and designers can come up with in every measure, not counting reliability and durability.
The reason why GM killed off Pontiac instead of Buick was because China saw Buick as a luxury brand in their country.
Can we have Pontiac back now?

Sadly, as this is GM, it will not improve the quality of the end product. At least it will employ Americans.
That’s less a comment on Chinese cars and more a comment on just how bad GM cars are. :P
Truth being said, Buick is way behind the current Chinese brands. The real reason is likely that they don’t sell in Asia anymore.
