A permanent seat on US President Donald Trump's "Board of Peace" aimed at resolving conflicts will cost countries $1 billion each, according to its charter. Invited world leaders include Russian President Vladimir Putin, Hungarian premier Viktor Orban and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
US President Donald Trump's government has asked countries to pay $1 billion for a permanent spot on his "Board of Peace" aimed at resolving conflicts, according to its charter, seen Monday by AFP.
The White House has asked various world leaders to sit on the board, chaired by Trump himself, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Hungarian premier Viktor Orban and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
Member countries -- represented on the board by their head of state -- would be allowed to join for three years -- or longer if they paid more than $1.0 billion within the first year, the charter says.

Correction. I don’t see any evidence that Putin has agreed. Just that he was asked.
Zelensky is going to expect some ‘Rich’ country to lend him the $1 Billion Dollars so that he won’t be missing out,
knowing full well that any ‘loan’ to Zelensky is in essence going to be a donation.
“Monsieur Macron, Puis je obtenir un petit pret?”
(Can I get a small loan?)
France will always have peace. They surrender.
Free Republic can solve its money issues by establishing its own Board of Peace and by charging, say, just $100 million per country. (Sort of like Dennis the Menace selling lemonade for $20 a glass. He explains to Joey that they only have to sell one glass.)
A high price for virtue signaling. There will not be peace in Gaza as long as muslims are there.
“”France will always have peace. They surrender.””

Between surrendering and backstabbing ... ie pretending to support something... they’ve become the very definition of ‘gutless wonders of the world’. Hard to believe they used to have citizens that actually stood up for themselves against tyranny. Amazing what over two centuries can do for “change”.
“Invited world leaders include Russian President Vladimir Putin...”
The same Vladimir Putin that is going to invade Greenland if the US doesn’t take it over first?
LOL
It’s a good thing that it’s President Trump saying this. If it was someone like Obama or Biden, or even President GW Bush, people would be losing their minds claiming the POTUS is insane. Thankfully it’s none of those people. I am sure President Trump is just trolling. /s

...which for some reason reminds me of that old
recommendation, "Let's you and him fight!"
;^)
The League of Nations and the United Nations started off with similar aspirations.
Well there is one thing we do know and that is that Mr. Putin is a man of peace like no other.
Not trolling, playing chess.
What’s with this love affair Trump has with Putin?
—”They surrender.”
Do not believe what you see on The Simpsons.
Tell us about the Dunkirk Evacuation and the French rearguard, especially the 16th Corps, some Brits too.
They did not get on the boats to England; they were the rear guard
It did not go well for most of them.
“O stranger, report to the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their words.”
Yes, the French had some of the worst equipment and a few very bad leaders...
I doubt Hungary or Canada can afford $1 billion.
Always?
France lost 1.5 million men in WW1.
They lost tens of thousands in WW2, before being defeated in 1940.
