The fact in Qatar is that there is not homogenization. For reasons I don’t understand, there are at least two strong factions.
My guess is that there are old men who support the radicals and younger men who seek modernization
I think it may very well be just the opposite.
Qatar & Saudis have been pressuring Trump into not attacking Iran. They won’t cooperate in letting our military in their countries do anything against Iran.

Qatar has been Brit and US intel infested for decades.
So, the money in Qatar belongs to Trump? He alone has control of it? All US money should go thru the US Treasury..
If the money in Qatar is US money, it is also subject to courts.
That makes sense. I know that other Gulf Arabs are moderate—especially from UAE and Saudi Arabia (MBS).
Why not use the money to refill the Strategic Oil Reserve that Biden sold to China?
Maybe US banks have systems in place to prevent banking with the country. So they had to go through an intermediary that was not restricting banking.
Qatar funds the Islamization of our universities. They export the worst of Islam.
