Howdy, luvie.
I guess you enjoyed your nice warm day.
Not too nice here. Raining a little most of the afternoon, 48 degrees, but no wind. Right around sunset, I could see the back edge of the clouds with clearing behind it, and knew the “fun” was about to begin. That was the front. Cold air and wind. 32 now and dropping.

Hey there, radu!
Yes, it was a very nice day. Of course, I enjoyed it from inside. I did go out yesterday to air out one of the cottages. it has kind of a funky odor from the wood that won't go away. Airing it out helped. I had a helper. LOL!

Brrrr....sounds like you're really in for it for a while. It will be cooling down for a bit here, but nothing like that. ๐ฅถ

LOL It looks like Grey didn’t appreciate Dottie’s “help”. How DARE she get inside!!
Whatever they treated the wood with will probably smell for a long time. Airing it out periodically is a good idea.
Yup, it isn’t going to be fun the next week or so. It’s ugly out there now. I just went out to check the well house and oof!! That wind is ugly. The temp now is what our high tomorrow is supposed to be. The wind’s done a good job drying pavement so driving won’t be a problem. There was only .1 of an inch of rain today so it wasn’t very wet anyway.

Yeah, Grey sleeps in that cottage sometimes, especially if Miss Dottie claims HER cottage. I’m very disappointed that it has that odor. I keep hoping that eventually the smell will fade.
Brrrr....it sounds quite miserable out there. Are the ladies going to have the meeting tomorrow? Thank goodness there is no ice on the road, in case they do. I know you would hate to miss it.

Aaah, so that’s Dottie’s house, not Grey’s. I’d forgotten you got the new one. Depends on what they used to treat the wood, I guess, as to how long it will smell funky.
Yes, the meeting is on tomorrow. Our president sent out an email this afternoon. That’s good because this is when we work on our agenda for the year. It’s an election year plus the US’s 250th anniversary so there’ll be a lot of things to get involved in. That’s what our board meeting was about last week.
And I need to head off to get stuff done and get ready for bed. I need to have my wits about me in the morning.
Have a good rest of the night. Catch ya tomorrow.

Have fun at the meeting tomorrow. I hope wherever they have it, it’s nice and warm. Nighty-night!
Well, it’s SUPPOSED to be Dottie’s house, or somebody’s, but I think that Grey is the only one who has actually slept in it. She’s the smart one.
The boys hang out on the neighbor’s junky patio. Lots of places to hide out there, and they don’t seem to mind. They are very good neighbors. Even though that fence is still not finished. LOL!

Hi, EGC! Mmmm....Applebee's sounds good. What did you pick? Looks like y'all had great fun at the lake yesterday. Looks pretty chilly, though.

We had the chicken tenders platter. It tasted pretty good.
And yeah, it was a little bit chilly out there yesterday. They're forecasting 63 here in Comanche today though so it should be a little better.
