President Donald Trump said drug “cartels are running Mexico,” and suggested the U.S. military could start land strikes against them there.

AMEN!!’
ABOUT TIME!!!
GET SOME!!’
(Airstrikes on every Cartel asset and person is fine by me. No boots on the ground. Just great practice for our boys in planes …)
Despite the hysterics from the Dems and media, Trump’s policy in Latin America is clear. If its the government policy of the country to support or tolerate drug operations targeted at the US, or to send their criminals to the US, Trump is going to respond militarily. Venezuela was the worst example of a country with a government that actively pushed drugs and their criminal population into the US. Cuba is too. Columbia and Mexico openly tolerate it. Trump isn’t going to play games with them anymore.
I hope the cartel members are hearing this and trembling in fear for their lives. For the first time, THEY are on the defensive, knowing Trump doesn’t play games.
Drone their asses to eternity.

Mexico is a failed cartel controlled narco state transshipping weapons of mass destruction (fentanyl and meth from Chinese precursors) murdering 70,000 Americans per year (more than the whole Vietnam war) last I checked.
Wipe them out.
I voted for this.

The sooner the better to save lives here.
Where’s Spooky?
So did I.
Unlike hamass or the mullahs, I am not aware of any tunneling (except across the border) by cartels.
This is shooting fish in a barrel.
Roast the MoFos!
Me too!
Trump never said he would (to my recollection,) but this is the most obvious military play from Day 1.
I was kinda wondering why Venezuela first, which was useful but less important to me…
That’s a pretty big assumption, one I would not make.
They might not have a serious IADS. But MANPADS? Quite likely.
I would also like to see very clear and concerted efforts at getting the help that the addicts need to break away from drugs altogether. What a great way to bankrupt the cartels and their Democrat toadies.
THIS will be the biggest improvement to our cities in my lifetime.
We have millions of fentanyl and meth zombies crawling all over our cities stealing everything that isn’t nailed down for their next fix. Homelessness is driven by meth and fentanyl. Millions of lives destroyed.
Documentation from Grok:
“ Cumulative estimates for fentanyl-related overdose deaths (approximating synthetic opioid deaths post-2013 surge):
• From roughly 2013 to 2023: well over 500,000 deaths.
• Recent annual figures: ~73,000 in 2022 and ~73,000 in 2023.
• One source notes over a quarter of a million fentanyl overdoses since 2021 alone, aligning with peak years exceeding 70,000 annually.”
We will go find out and prepare accordingly, of course.
But I know of no report that they have organized anti-air defenses.
Addicts essentially never quit meth or fentanyl after their very first hit. They are ruined for life chasing that first high.
I have an acquaintance who is a public defender. He tries his best to get them into rehab. I asked what was the rate of success of rehab, and he said,
“Well under 5%!” Shaking his head.
“I was kinda wondering why Venezuela first.”
Because this poison goes from Venezuela to Mexico and then to the US. Trump cut the Mexican cartels off at the knees with this move.
It’s genius.

We know he’s actually serious when the banks that serve cartel money get hit some morning. Blowing up a cartel, Hacienda, or motorboats is good video. But when he attacks the industry, the gigantic industry, that serves cartel money, that would really knock the stuffing out of them. But of course, that would involve going after some erstwhile respectable people.
