President Trump says there won't be a 'second Wave of Attacks' against Venezuela due to their 'cooperation'

President Donald Trump announced in an early Friday morning Truth Social post that he has "cancelled the previously expected second Wave of Attacks" against Venezuela in light of the "cooperation" between the foreign nation and the U.S.

"Venezuela is releasing large numbers of political prisoners as a sign of 'Seeking Peace.' This is a very important and smart gesture. The U.S.A. and Venezuela are working well together, especially as it pertains to rebuilding, in a much bigger, better, and more modern form, their oil and gas infrastructure. Because of this cooperation, I have cancelled the previously expected second Wave of Attacks, which looks like it will not be needed, however, all ships will stay in place for safety and security purposes," Trump said in the post.

He noted that he will meet with "BIG OIL" figures at the White House on Friday.

...

Trump noted in a Wednesday Truth Social post, "I have just been informed that Venezuela is going to be purchasing ONLY American Made Products, with the money they receive from our new Oil Deal. These purchases will include, among other things, American Agricultural Products, and American Made Medicines, Medical Devices, and Equipment to improve Venezuela’s Electric Grid and Energy Facilities."

I’m beginning to think Maduro’s departure was a palace coup with extra steps.

Great—Venezuelans too can be sickened by our pesticide-drenched food.

As Trump says, life is just a deal. It looks like he did a lot of advanced planning on the Venezuela “deal.”

It’s starting to look that way. Because I’d guess that the president of a country would have safe rooms, and all sorts of escape routes.

Yet we just went in, grabbed Maduro, and removed him.

Rather surprising.

What Trump says our loud, and what he may do are two separate realities. So, not sure I buy this comment., for he wants them to be off guard, not prepared if & when he strikes.

Maduro rolled over and they had to make it look good. He probably gave the intel that got his Praetorian Cuban guards killed. He’s singing like a canary.

Sounds like the deal was cut before the extraction. If so, bravo!

On its face it appears that the administration had failed to work out the second act. But if this deal has been prearranged, it is one of the grandest, most elegant coups in history.

That's very impressive.

But I think it contains some inaccuracies. For example, it said that a C-17 Globemaster transport plane took off from the USS Iwo Jima carrying Maduro to Homestead Air Force Base, Florida.

A C-17 Globemaster can't take off from the USS Iwo Jima. News sources said they left the USS Iwo Jima by helicopter and were flown to Guantanamo Base Cuba, then to New York by fixed-wing jet transport.

Trump knew they would acquiesce. His posturing was to warn them (and others) that his is a not-messing-around posture.

It's been so long since the world has seen a POTUS w/balls that they assumed we would always be their punching bag.

Guess we should be used to “some inaccuracies” in reporting by now.

Trump attempted to assasinate Putin, using 5 eyes, the Brits and US Intelligence. Putin lied to Trump about his location to test Trump. Now Russia has made the conclusive decision, that Marco Narco and Trump have botched this attack on Venezuela - the Major General who betrayed Maduro has been dealth with. Trump’s Oil War and Trump’s decision to make all oceanic shipping a part of his war on Russia, China, and Brics. The same week Trump hit Venezula they were set to add 60B dollars to the Brics financial system. Now that civilian shipping NO LONGER HAS SAFE PASSAGE due to the US World-wide War Trump miscalculated massively; Russia took down 7 ships knowing the insurance, registration and ownership, cargo and destinations before capturing them 3 different water transit areas at once. Some sourcs state betwee 7-12 western ships/tankers were capture - at present there is nothing in the western press on this nearly 24 old news story - could it the Trump that’s been crowing rather than being a majestic Eagle has had his wings clipped?

The “Mirror Strategy” where Moscow is using Western legal precedents to seize assets, has triggered an impending collapse of maritime insurance markets: should China and Iran who are watching this new precedent closely engage in similar Western Piracy, the era of safe global shipping is over; the era of contested logistics has begun. The West’s own sanctions are now cited as justification against them, and Russia has sprung a trap two years in the making.

The other reason was at the same time Russia began mirroring Washingtons, Britians denial of Freedom of Navigation, Russia not only mirrored it, but launched the Oreshnik.

Where did Oreshnik hit? There are many “tempting” targets in the Lviv region. One of them is a buried command post near Stryi (during Soviet times, it was a reserve command post for the Carpathian Military District). Even at the beginning of the Second World War, it was “cherished” by NATO officers advising the Ukrainians. Russian Kinzhal and Kalibr missiles “visited” it a couple of times. There were heavy losses. One Ukrainian website reported that “ambulances were running from the strike site to Stryi and Lviv for a whole week.”

Reports had already leaked that the French and British had begun establishing a command post for the “coalition of the willing” in Western Ukraine. There, in the Lviv region, numerous underground military facilities remained from Soviet times (the Germans planned to build an entire tank factory at one of them). In any case, “Oreshnik” was aimed at a strategically important and underground facility—one of its main purposes. This included the destroyed Bilche-Volytsko-Uherske and Stryiske gas storage facilities, located in the same region.

What kind of gas storage facilities are these? The Bilče-Volicko-Uherské underground gas storage facility is a European gas “monster.” It holds four times more gas than Germany’s largest storage facility (approximately 17 billion cubic meters).

More than 200 foreign companies store fuel there. This is a powerful blow to all of them. And, of course, to Ukraine as well. And if you add in the attack on the Stryi gas storage facility, that’s over 50-60 percent of the total gas storage capacity in Ukraine! Those who plotted these attacks clearly weren’t messing around.

Why attack gas storage facilities? This is, in essence, a strategic military-economic strike. And it’s not meant to freeze ordinary people. Such a strike would also create problems for Ukraine with the transit and distribution of gas from Europe. Even a schoolchild understands that gas is used in the military industry. Without gas, military factories that manufacture and repair military equipment would shut down. This isn’t like attacks on civilians in Kherson or Belgorod.

Oreshnik was again without a combat unit? It’s not needed. The Rubezh IRBM missile reaches speeds of Mach 11–12. At Mach 6, the kinetic energy of a simple piece of iron exceeds the energy of the explosives that can be loaded into it. The warhead material heats up so much upon impact that this energy transforms it into plasma. This is what gives it enormous penetrating power.

The video shows nearly vertical fiery lightning bolts (the same kind was seen over Yuzhmash). The Americans have already nicknamed them “God’s arrows.” These bolts are the very same plasma cocoon forming around the unit.

Isn’t it dangerous to strike so close to Poland? Some Ukrainian provocateurs are already lying that the Russians launched a strike almost directly near Rzeszow, the main hub through which Western weapons flow into Ukraine. The truth is that the strike hit the target practically in front of the Poles so that the flashing lights would be visible to their European “partners.”

however, they gonna also have to purge all the cuban, iranian and chinese minders in their illegitimate and corrupt “government” ... AND they gonna have to have legitimate national assembly elections, legitimate appointments to their phony-baloney supreme court, etc.

Noticed that. Also, no mention of the bombs/rockets which took out the Chavez mausoleum.
