JUST IN: DHs arrested 1,000 people in the Minneapolis area as federal law enforcement swarm the area
An audit report from the nonpartisan “Minnesota Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA)” found
that Tim Walz’s tax subsidized state Dept of Human Services (DHS) Behavioral Health Division
<><>fabricated official records of govt grants,
<><>failed to implement internal controls over govt grants,
<><>ignored oversight on “certain govt grant programs.”
The audit, released January 2026, focuses on how the Minn DHS
grossly mismanaged govt grants totaling about $400M tax dollars.
Key findings from the audit include:
<><>Fabricated Records
<><>DHS staff falsified and backdated documents in an attempt to mislead auditors.
<><>Zero or Inadequate Internal Controls
<><>DHS’s oversight was nil
<><>failed to determine if grant recipients were financially stable before awarding tax funds
<><>govt staff “approved” advance tax dollar payments incorrectly.
<><>Ignored mandated Oversight
<><>failed to ensure govt grantees submitted required progress reports,
<><>govt employees did not conduct required monitoring visits,
<><>govt employees did not perform financial reconciliations of tax dollar expenditures.
These findings are part of a larger ongoing scandal where state and federal investigators are probing potentially billions of tax dollars in fraud across various Minnesota govt social service programs, most notably the Somali-run “Feeding Our Future” case.
Now ousted, then-Gov Tim Walz has previously stated “he was working to fix it.”
One, fraud is in every state, and other states’ corruption is multiples more than MN.
Two, if they audit the whole entitlement welfare gimmedat realm, they would discover trillions in fraud.
Three, it’s not just Somalis doing it.
I’m going to guess this is going to be the predicate for shutting down most of the entitlement piece of the Fed budget pie. You know, that part Congress does not dare touch.
