"Next time, I'm going to kill them," she said. "Don't come back. Don't come back to my house."
A Los Angeles mother — on the road and speaking on the phone with her mother, who suddenly started screaming in fear — raced home and rammed a car being used by burglars, video of dramatic confrontation showed.
The woman had just gone out to grab coffee at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday and was on the phone with her mother when two masked burglars appeared outside the back sliding door of their house in Sherman Oaks, the family said.
"My mom is screaming. My kids are in the house," the woman told NBC News on Monday. "She's screaming like crazy."
The woman, fearing for the safety of her mother and three young children, raced home in her G-Wagon and slammed into a sedan parked outside — not knowing, at that moment, that she had actually crashed into the getaway car.
"I see the guys, and I was in panic. I was in shock, you know, and I, like, hit their car unintentionally," the woman said. "In my mind, I thought they killed my family."
Neighborhood security cameras showed two men running away from the scene as soon as the woman came crashing home.
Then, moments later, a third man, believed to be the getaway driver, emerged from the right side of the car that the panicked woman had just struck, video showed.

They jammed wireless internet and cell phones.

wild.....
“They jammed wireless internet and cell phones.”
There’s a lot to be said for having an actual old-fashioned landline that can’t be jammed. I miss ours. Of course, outside wiring can be cut, but I doubt if evil-doers even consider the possibility of a landline these days.
“The woman had just gone out to grab coffee at about 11:30 a.m.”
Here’s an idea: Make coffee at home. I can see grabbing a cup on the easy to work or something. But leave home, buy coffee, return home?
If you can afford a luxury Mercedes SUV, you probably can afford a cup of $tarbucks.
About next time....
People end up with holes in them if they cross her.
That’s boyfriend William Shatner character who admires her shooting style.
I wasn’t considering affordability. I was thinking about time management.
BTW, my sister has a Mercedes SUV and she makes her coffee at home. The car is white; it’s name is “White Privilege”.
The other one’s name is “Deer Slayer”. It was only in the shop for a month post-Bambi.
There’s a lot to be said for having an old fashioned 1911 Colt.
“But leave home, buy coffee, return home?”
Downright freakish! I’d bet that only happens about 10 million times a day.
RE: “Next time, I’m going to kill them,” she said. “Don’t come back. Don’t come back to my house.”
That should be made into one of those framed needlepoint sayings like “Home Sweet Home.”
I like the one At My Age I Need Glasses (with two liquor glasses) and Don’t Try To Get On My Good Side. I No Longer Have One.
Probably wanted to get away from the house and kids for few minutes...
MAYBE SHE WENT TO GET A CAN OF COFFEE GROUNDS.
Indeed.
Wait. The city hasn’t charged her yet?
You can also afford a nice espresso machine. Making your own is a lot cheaper AND more convenient (less time) than leaving your home to go get a latte.
Sometimes you just need to get away from the house. Her mom lives with her. You saw that right ? LOL.
> You can also afford a nice espresso machine. Making your own is a lot cheaper AND more convenient (less time) than leaving your home to go get a latte.
That’s what I do and it’s great. And always just the way I like it.
Well, I’d never do that and don’t know anybody who would. But each to his own.
That’s true. I could be that desperate, for sure. But definitely not for a CUP of coffee. Hers probably was Starbucks.

Maybe she was getting someone.
