Hillary Clinton’s own Russia scandal: FBI memos detail how Uranium One probe thwarted

Running out the clock: The FBI and DOJ slow-walked their investigation into the Clinton Foundation and the sale of Uranium One to Russia-backed interests. As a result of roadblocks, the statute of limitations was allowed to lapse on any prosecution.

Federal investigators believed there was significant evidence worth pursuing related to possible criminality involving the Clinton Foundation and the State Department’s approval of the sale of Uranium One to Russian state-owned interests, but delays by the Justice Department and FBI led the inquiry to whither and die because of statute of limitations issues.

The sale of the Canada-based Uranium One to the Russian state-owned Rosatom was the focus of great controversy and scrutiny from Republicans and others who argued that then-Secretary of State Clinton helped approve the deal and that the Clinton Foundation may have stood to benefit from it.

Career agents and line prosecutors at the FBI and DOJ also believed the saga may have been a criminal one, but orders from DOJ leaders such as then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe slow-walked and stonewalled the inquiry to the point where it could no longer be pursued.

FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors in Little Rock, Arkansas and elsewhere closely scrutinized the scandal — but were largely blocked from serious investigative action due to leadership delays and, following those delays, arguments that the statute of limitations had run out.

Jonathan Ross, then the First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, argued in a 2018 email that “there is no legal barrier in continuing the present investigation” into the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One. Ross has served as U.S. Attorney in Arkansas since 2022, including during Trump’s second term.

“because payments from the subjects of the investigation to the Foundation were made continuously from 2007 through 2014.”

No one knows the exact amounts paid to the Clintons by Frank Guistra and Ian Telfer, the CEO and major owners of Uranium One, to their "good friends" the Clintons, but amounts range as high as $145 million

Does the statute of limitations apply on treason?

For reference...

The Clintons were subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee in August 2025 for testimony regarding the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, with initial deposition dates set for October 2025 (Bill on Oct. 14, Hillary on Oct. 9) but later pushed to December 17 (Bill) and December 18 (Hillary), 2025, with threats of contempt if they didn’t appear or reschedule for early January 2026.

If Billy becomes too much of a potential problem here for Hitlery, expect an unexpected last breath from him.

So a politician can appoint senior officials at the DOJ and FBI, who can then slow walk investigations into well known criminal activities and US law has no answer for this.
But I as a taxpayer am on the hook for reparations that my ancestors had no part of

John Adams famously stated, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other,” emphasizing the essential role of morality and virtue in sustaining a democratic society.

He was right. The founders never would have guessed government, industry, and culture would be captured by the communists. Communism wasn’t around back then.

Uncovering all this is wonderful. But, when will Pam Bondi do something about it?

I think this does look a little suspicious but I'm sure there's a logical explanation.

FYI

Hillary Clinton, as Obama’s Secretary of State, had a seat on the inter-agency Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), which unanimously approved the 2010 sale of a majority stake in the Canadian company Uranium One to the Russian state-owned firm Rosatom.

Key points regarding the Clintons’ role:

Approval Process: The transaction was approved by CFIUS, a committee composed of representatives from nine U.S. government agencies, including the Departments of the Treasury, Defense, Commerce, Energy, and Homeland Security, and the State Department. Decisions were made at the staff level, and officials involved stated that the matter did not rise to the Secretary of State’s desk for personal input. No single agency could veto the deal.

Clinton Foundation Donations: People with ties to Uranium One made millions of dollars in donations to the Clinton Foundation around the time of the deal.

Frank Giustra, a Canadian financier who co-owned a predecessor company to Uranium One, donated tens of millions of dollars to the foundation, but most of these donations occurred years before Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State or the Rosatom deal was announced, and Giustra had sold his stake in the company three years before the sale to Rosatom was completed.

Bill Clinton’s Speech: In 2010, the year the sale was approved, former President Bill Clinton received $500,000 for a speech in Moscow from a Russian investment bank, Renaissance Capital, that had links to the Kremlin and was promoting Uranium One stock.

Multiple independent fact-checking organizations, congressional reviews, and the Obama/Biden-era Department of Justice have found “no evidence of a quid pro quo” or that “donations to the Clinton Foundation influenced Hillary Clinton or the CFIUS decision.”

An FBI investigation into a separate Russian bribery plot related to Rosatom found “no evidence” of impropriety by Hillary Clinton or her foundation.

The russians then sold some of the uranium to Iran to make nuclear bombs that would be used in Israel and the USA.
This is treason and those involved should be hanged.
