Too early. However, I think that the odds are overstated for five of the six, with Rubio being the exception. A couple that are probably underrated at this point are the Democrat governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear, and the Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis.

Vance of course. , thiugh the Daily Mail just listed their usual variety of hit piece on him.

Hard to believe Newscum comes in a rather close second.

It’s way, way too early for this kind of speculation. One might recall how in 1957 President Knowland was predicted to succeed Eisenhower; in 1961 President Rockefeller would succeed JFK. Then in 1965, it was predicted that President Lindsay would succeed LBJ; in 1969, President Ted Kennedy would follow Nixon, and so on.

If I remember correctly, Jimmy Carter, although governor of Georgia, basically came out of nowhere to win the Presidency.

It is entirely possible that we might still have an “out of nowhere” candidate emerge.

I think Wes Moore is the "dark horse" for the Democrats.

Obama may favor him.

He was in the Army.

Appears to be fairly articulate.

Trump was also an “out of nowhere” candidate.

Grok:

Wes Moore Bronze Star Controversy:

“Timeline and Resolution
Maryland Governor Wes Moore, a Democrat and rising political figure who served as an Army captain in Afghanistan from 2005–2006, has faced scrutiny over his military awards—specifically a Bronze Star Medal for “meritorious service.” The controversy centers on Moore prematurely claiming the award in 2006, before it was officially processed, and his failure to correct similar misstatements in media appearances over the years. Moore has repeatedly called this an “honest mistake,” attributing it to assurances from superiors and bureaucratic delays in the Army's award system.

The issue resurfaced in 2024 amid his national profile, including vetting for VP Kamala Harris's running mate and a DNC speech, but was resolved when he received the medal in December 2024—nearly 18 years after his deployment.”

You can't go about claiming an award in 2006, when the award was actually given in 2024.

Moore is another Trojan Horse.

Do we need to relive the Obronko - Biden years of oppression?

The fact that Harris got 4% is a joke. She couldn’t get 2% in 2020 primary, prior to anyone knowing anything about her. Now that they know who she is, I would think closer to .5%, at best.

She got even less support than a candidate who isn’t even Constitutionally permitted to be elected! (Trump 6% to her 4)

Yep. Way too early for anyone who’s not a daily fan of politics to decide anything. Having Trump and Harris on the polling makes it even more ridiculous.
