At first glance, Mike Waltz’s visit to Israel this week may look like a new UN ambassador’s routine orientation tour – a series of meetings, border briefings, and handshakes meant to signal continuity. But nothing about the timing or the choreography of this particular visit suggests anything routine.
Waltz’s first major foreign trip since taking office is not just a symbolic gesture. It is the operational rollout of the Trump administration’s Gaza plan, carried out under the umbrella of UN Security Council Resolution 2803, which the US drafted and pushed through.
And the visit comes just days after the UN General Assembly overwhelmingly renewed – again – UNRWA’s mandate in a 151-10 vote, with 14 abstentions, that was as lopsided as it was predictable.
Waltz arrived in Israel not simply as a diplomat, but as a political actor with a clear worldview. He is the one who said in his Senate confirmation hearing that UNRWA “must be dismantled,” the one who sees Hamas’s disarmament as non-negotiable, and the one who believes the UN can be used – if steered aggressively – to advance American and Israeli interests rather than constrain them.

Waltz is in Israel, Waltz is in Israel,
Mike Waltz is traveling to Israel for us,
And he talked as he stood, and explained all the Gaza plan,
Hamas will leave, or the plan’s bound to fail.
Waltz ought to go to Gaza and tellthem he can get them 1 billion in American $. Tell him to stay there til it comes.
At this point there’s not much Hamas left.
And screw the UN.

The only way Hamas will leave Gaza is if someone removes them.
There are two main types of removal:
Breathing
Not breathing
Amb. Waltz also toured the joint US-Israeli command center (CMCC) in Kiryat Gat with the Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon.
This is the same facility where its been recently reported the Israelis are spying on the American military and others. The US has deployed 200 troops to the Gaza region.
Every Gazan is Hamas, even now.
You’re right. Shove them all into Egypt at gunpoint.

<< [Waltz] is supporting Israel’s control over what enters Gaza, how it gets there, and who decides if the conditions are right. This is the core of the Trump plan, and Waltz came to make that clear. >>
Good.
I forget....Can someone remind me.....Why was Waltz fired as the National Security Advisor ?
I prefer the Not Breathing option when it comes to Hamas.
The people of Hamas/Gazans haven't surrendered. So evidently Israel hasn't killed enough of them. I wish all things in life were that simple.
UNRWA was embedded with the Hamas during their murderous “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” into Israel on October 7th.
I believe they intended to ‘great reset’ the narrative and try to force a change in the status quo and then it descended into hell. To have a reprobate wicked Obama creature type show up to negotiate some form of a new ‘peace agreement’ and include the division of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria.
A look ahead for Gaza...
