Candace Owens is facing significant scrutiny after she indicated she would not attend an in-person event geared toward addressing the various conspiracy theories she has promoted about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
On Wednesday, The Charlie Kirk Show producer Blake Neff tore into Owens over her amplification of “lies” and “innuendos thrown around with a total, reckless disregard for the truth.”
“Ever since Charlie’s murder, Candace Owens has leveled a flood of allegations against people at Turning Point USA, people at Turning Point Action, and people who work for this show. She has made them against some of Charlie’s closest friends and against some of his most dedicated employees,” said Neff. “Even if not everyone has been named specifically, though, Candace has effectively tarred everyone here with complicity in Charlie’s death by repeatedly saying he was, quote, ‘betrayed by,’ quote, ‘everyone.’ She has said Charlie’s murder, quote, ‘had to be approved by Charlie’s friends,’ and then suggested those friends might have her murdered too for quote ‘knowing the truth.'”
He continued:
So here’s what is going to happen. In the near future, there will be a livestream here in Phoenix where we address in a clear and comprehensive way the claims and accusations, the false accusations that have been made against Charlie’s family, friends, and the people here at Turning Point. We plan to walk through everything carefully and thoroughly. If Candace is available, we would sincerely welcome her participation in that livestream at our studio here in Phoenix. At this point, we believe the ball is back in her court.
Subsequently, Neff provided a time and date for the event on X, writing:
The livestream we announced on the show Wednesday has been set.
At 4 pm Eastern, 2 pm local time on Monday, December 15, a collection of Charlie’s friends will respond to statements made by @RealCandaceO, to set the record straight once and for all prior to the opening of AmericaFest.
We’ll be live-streaming from Charlie’s Phoenix studio. Our offer from yesterday holds: If Candace wishes to join us in person in Phoenix, she is welcome to do so. She can let us know by the end of today.
Owens replied:

Given Owens’s previous declaration that Neff and his colleagues could “pick the place” and “pick the time” for the event, observers were less than impressed by her response.
“Yesterday, we made it clear that we would be scheduling a formal response to the allegations and accusations you have made. We’ve decided that response will be delivered during a livestream on December 15th,” replied Neff. “Thank you for your response letting us know you will not be joining the in-person conversation. We will be proceeding without you.”

Whatever this says about Owens still doesn’t validate the story of a furry cuck with a 30.06 keep killing Charlie.
Candace is trying to be the David Irving of the 2020s, only she’s historically illiterate. Irving at least couched his lies inside historical events.
It doesn’t validate it. THAT will be done in COURT, with plenty of physical evidence. You do not ruin the court case by dumping all the info before a jury can be picked and seated!
But if you claim someone else did it, you need to come up with some evidence. Candy Owens has none. Just insane accusations and dreams about “Charlie”...

I used to like her. So what happened? What made her bat sh!t crazy?
The second tell is the demand she accept/decline their offer in 24 hours while announcing the date and time of the event at midnight. Owens is the mother of three small children as well as the host of a number one podcast worldwide and its not like she can abdicate those responsibilities.
Everything about this Turning Point USA offer is disingenuous and more evidence that they're not dealing with Owens in good faith which is ironic considering all the evangelical pastors hovering in the background.
Say what you want, but Candace always has text messages which she shows. She has back up video that everything she says she knows is true regarding Charlie. She was in constant contact with him until he died. And Charlie was a good friend to her until he died. You read his messages where he is protecting her and Tucker. You see the video of his frustration with donor demands. Right up until he dies. You see other people shilling for their books, or their own businesses, or saying things that were not true.
Think about it. Charlie was in a tent which was set up before he came. It took away clear shots from above or the sides. Once in the tent you could only shoot at Charlie from straight ahead. The little tent was arranged so only one group of roofs had a shot. And nobody was there. When the TP security guy showed texts saying the college was in charge of a roof above Charlie it was the one right behind Charlie. And they did cover it. But the three roofs in front of Charlie with a perfect view of the tent opening that was set up before Charlie arrived, were ignored. If you can’t secure those roofs why aren’t you watching them? Why set up the tent so a shooter can get ready even while Charlie is setting up. How does the shooter know that right there is the perfect shot. Charlie’s million dollar security may not be on the only roof with a direct shot. But that they did not even look at it?
Think about it. If this is a lone wolf. He got pretty damned lucky. He has a tent that points to where he needs to be. He is able to get on a roof with a rifle. There is no one on the roof or even looking at it. He sets up at exactly the right time. Takes the shot and leaves. Hes not a marksman. He is not ex-military. He is there for a couple of minutes. Right in the middle of campus.
Candace does not lie but she does play a lot of what if games. She is trying to piece it out. She does not know what happened. But she does know that there are a lot of people who are either lying or self promoting. And there is no question that the security around Charlie was expensive and very flawed. And those people who were in charge of security don’t seem to be remorseful. Or taking ownership of their mistakes. If they were mistakes.
Why is it that there is always a lone gunman, a kid, a loser, who has a perfect shot out in the open. Then he is whisked away or killed. It was the same with RFK and JFK. The narrative makes no sense and the government shoots down all possibilities even when they can’t prove their hypothesis.
Candace is not BS anything. She is stating that the murder of Charlie was not what it appears. She can absolutely prove that TP people are and were lying and self promoting. She has the texts. She has the video. She shows it. She does everything right out in the open. Everyone has a chance to prove what she is finding is wrong. And many times she gets a good reason why something she says is wrong. But she has a whole lot of things that they are not disproving. And she has a lot of evidence. And much of the evidence is coming from TP itself.
You can tell a lot about what the devil is doing by what is happening in the world, because at least half of it marches to his drum. He really hates Israel.
I like Candace, and the non-stop hit pieces on her are not changing my mind. In fact it’s making me suspicious of her detractors.
TPUSA brought all this upon themselves by not addressing the various anomalies raised by Candace and others. Why didn’t they just release the autopsy and respond to the questions raised by Candace? Now it appears the TPUSA staff was paying themselves 4x more than what was released publicly via various shell corporations. Many of the staff appear to have somewhat shady backgrounds. Candace does tend to be conspiracy minded but all TPUSA had to do was be transparent if they wanted to silence Candace’s allegations but instead chose to remain mostly silent.
That transcript is somewhat confusing, since both sides speaking tend to get caught up in a debate of semantics.
Candace seemed to be waffling, but she did not flat out refuse to do it, so I wouldn’t crow about this development as any ‘Big Win’ from Blake Neff’s side. It is good that she is being called out as someone who tends to make things up purely for more clicks and higher Ad rates, no matter who get’s hurt or slandered in that process.
