The Biden administration withheld data from the public on the risks of myocarditis from the Covid vaccine, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Marty Makary claimed Thursday — a bold accusation that clashes with years of public statements from federal health officials.
“We have done more to study myocarditis and to go back and look at deaths of people, of children from the Covid vaccine,” Makary told NBC News in an interview. “Internal data submitted on myocarditis, we found that the Biden administration was sitting on data on myocarditis in young people, and it was not made public.”
Makary’s claim comes less than a week after Vinay Prasad, the FDA’s top vaccine regulator, told agency staff in a memo that an internal review found that at least 10 children died “after and because of receiving” the Covid shot. Prasad suggested — without evidence to support his claim — that the child deaths were tied to myocarditis.
Myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, is a known — but small — risk of the mRNA Covid vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna, information that federal agencies have discussed openly since 2021.
The FDA has not released its new findings publicly, nor has the agency published them in a peer-reviewed journal. On Wednesday, a dozen former FDA leaders issued a scathing denunciation of the new assertions.
The first signs of a possible myocarditis link to the shots emerged in March 2021, when reports from both the U.S. and Israel cited rare cases following Covid vaccination. Symptoms of the condition include shortness of breath, chest pain and a fluttering or pounding heart.

So, as long as it wasn’t “their loved ones or kids” that dropped dead from the jab, they concluded that it was worth it.
Have a friend whose cousin dropped dead on Monday that had previously gotten the jab. The cousin was 66 and an autopsy is forthcoming. This cousin that died was also one that told my friend that unless he got vaccinated, he shouldn’t attend the family reunion. My friend told her he just wouldn’t go then. Ironic and sad.
Everyone on that panel of "experts" needs to be named, arrested, charged, and imprisoned.

Nice dream. For there to actually be “accountability”.
Just like... for every member of every parole panel that has paroled people that went on to commit murder. Just like... for every judge that has given a slap on the wrist to hardened criminals that are set free to kill again. I’ve given up on witnessing any such “accountability or consequences” in my lifetime. And I seriously doubt that it will occur after I’m gone.
There is only going to be one instance of said accountability. The ultimate judgement will be rendered at that point. Until then, evil will ramp up and continue to ‘get away with it’.

They assume “statements” from “officials” equates to science.
You see this a lot in medicine, where “opinion leaders” make pronouncements that end up causing disaster…I have personal experience with this, where you’re told to develop a product a doctor wants knowing the whole time his idea won’t work.

I think you missed my point, the article tries to paint the current administration FDA as somehow wrong and even being deceptive and Biden’s as being some kind of factual god and to be unquestioned as to their previous findings.
Ok, but that was not my interpretation. Admittedly, it was a quick scan of the article.
I’ll look at it more closely later. You may be spot-on.
