Doctors have admitted to performing “non-standard” gender-affirming procedures on youngsters and sometimes base treatment purely on cosmetic goals — as they see a spike in patients seeking out “nonbinary” surgeries.
The medical professionals copped to sometimes even performing the life-altering procedures with little to no assessment of an individual’s mental health or gender identity, newly emerged videos obtained by The Free Press show.
The recordings, some of which have been made at closed-door medical conferences in the US within the last few years, captured clinicians openly discussing how they were trying to fulfill a patients’ desires — even if it means deviating from guidelines.
One social worker from Oregon once described how an 18-year-old high school graduate wanted to look like “a Barbie down there.”
The patient, only identified as Sky, had indicated they were asexual, had no desire to have sex in the future and was hoping to have a procedure to remove “all erogenous tissue.”

I don’t doubt that is happens, but why do they give an example of an 18-year-old early in the article? That’s adulthood.

One does have to question what, exactly, is being “affirmed” by surgical removal of one’s genitalia? That the patient is batshit nuts?
And the left thinks killing drug smugglers is a ‘war crime’.
Eighty years ago this sort of stuff was considered a real ‘war crime’.
I always wonder if these ‘doctors’ would amputate limbs or remove eyes from people suffering body integrity dysphoria; and how they can possibly see this as any different.
How is this not a crime? Even if you believe the "gender reassignment" BS, this has nothing to do with gender reassignment. Its major surgery with absolutely no medically credible purpose.
Isn’t “gender affirming” just a matter of dropping your shorts and taking a look??

In saner times, a patient with such a request would get an immediate referral for a psychiatric evaluation, and the surgery would definitely not be performed.
IMHO we also have to look at the state licensing boards. The left has put themselves in power in many groups and force people to choose between abiding by their cult or accept dhimmi status. I'm not saying the doctors were right to do this. I'm just saying, as far as motive goes, we may need to make sure we address all motives.
It is malpractice to ignore psychopathology of this extreme nature. No licensed physician should be mutilating mentally ill patients. Removing healthy organs to fix mental problems should result in immediate and permanent forfeit of medical license.

Yes, in saner times. But now, the entire psych industry would be all on board with transitioning such a minor. The whole field has gone insane.

Why the need to bother if already asexual?
IOW, “Do it, or lose your residency and your license, Oh, and maybe that Graduate Scholarship will suddenly come ‘Past Due’ b/c the terms have changed. You apparently lied to us on your application about what kind of person you were from the very beginning. Fork it over!!”
Lawsuits will become major issues when the trannys realize are unable to reverse the damage.
