After a monitoring platform reported on the flight, the Brazilian Army Command on the border assured that it had no information indicating a possible escape of the leader of the Venezuelan government, according to CNN Brazil.

A plane that had previously been used by the leader of the Venezuelan regime, Nicolás Maduro, traveled to the border with Brazil amid increasing US military pressure in the Caribbean region, CNN Brazil reported this Saturday.
The trip information was released by ADSB Exchange, a platform that monitors flight tracking data from around the world, on its website.
It details that the aircraft left Caracas and flew to the border with the Brazilian state of Roraima before returning to the Venezuelan capital.
According to CNN Brazil, the aircraft tracked by the international monitoring service is an Airbus A-319, registration YV2984, operated by Conviasa, the Venezuelan state airline. On their site they also describe the plane as a “government VIP plane,” which has been used by Maduro on official trips.
They also detail that the plane landed at the Santa Elena de Uairén Airport, about 10 km from the border with Brazil, in the municipality of Paracaima, which is equivalent to just over 12 minutes of travel. The route tracked by ADSB Exchange shows that the aircraft returned to the vicinity of Caracas.
Although this is the same plane that Maduro used on his last visit to Brasilia, in May 2023, it is not the only aircraft used by the Venezuelan government to transport him. Furthermore, so far, there is no evidence that the president was on board the flight that approached the border with Brazil.
CNN Brazil international analyst Lourival Sant'Anna stated, after contacting military and civilian sources, that Maduro has not yet communicated with Brazilian authorities.
Sant'Anna explained that the Brazilian Army Command on the border confirmed that there is no information that indicates a possible escape of the Venezuelan president.
This flight is recorded after other Conviasa aircraft were already the target of US sanctions and the US head of state, Donald Trump, announced that the airspace over Venezuela could be considered closed.
“To all airlines, pilots, drug traffickers and human traffickers, consider the TOTAL CLOSURE OF THE AIRSPACE OVER AND AROUND VENEZUELA,” Trump announced this Saturday in a publication on his Truth social network.
“the Brazilian Army Command on the border assured that it had no information indicating a possible escape of the leader of the Venezuelan government, according to CNN Brazil.”
Like the Brazilians are gonna go blabbing about that in civilian circles.

Manuro needs to be disappeared.
Tell him to send my regards to Josef Mengele while he’s in Brazil.
Mengele isn’t in Brazil anymore. I don’t think Maduro will be visiting him yet, but he may get there.
He's buried there.
“according to CNN Brazil”................
Really.
People are still believing CNN ?
Whatever CNN says, you are better off believing exactly the opposite to be true.
Guyana is right there. They should capture him and hold him on trial for threats to the country.
Trump should nab him and trade him for Bolsonaro.
I hate to think that this animal will be allowed to live high somewhere in China or Russia.
Maduro is responsible for the death of a million or more Americans due to drug overdose, many of them young people. He has financed a human and child trafficking betwork for cartel sex trade.
I’d say he has earned a special place on the CIA hit list.
Why didn’t I think of that?
He can live in Cuba-workers paradise.
To the contrary, I'd wager that he's a CIA "asset".
He’s not buried anywhere.
He was dug up in 1985, dna confirmed it was him and his remains are used as a teaching skeleton in São Paulo Institute of Forensic Medicine
Maduro is in deep trouble. Venez and Maduro cannot exist without the drug cartels bankrolling their economy.
If Maduro is gone will the threat to Guyana still be around? Successors just might support the idea. A US base in Guyana could be paid for 100% with oil. Wouldn’t have to stock the place with munitions as Venezuelans are not stupid.
Guyana has a bright future with it’s oil wealth soon to be tapped. Then there’s Cuba. Could an Ukraine deal with Putin allow for a changeover? Wouldn’t need to be forced. I could see a big migration of workers from underemployed socialist hellholes.
Even better...add Maduro’s skeleton to the collection.
the plane probably wisked away maduro’s wife and children

After initially offering a reward offer of up to $15 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Maduro in 2020, the Department of State on January 10, 2025, increased the reward offer to up to $25 million. On August 7, 2025, the Department announced the further increase in the reward offer to up to $50 million after the Department of Treasury sanctioned Cartel of the Suns as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist on July 25, 2025. As leader of Cartel of the Suns, Maduro is the first target in the history of the Narcotics Rewards Program with a reward offer exceeding $25 million.
