Rep. Al Green (D-TX) said he will file privileged articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump before Congress breaks for Christmas, which would force the House to consider them within two legislative days though they can be tabled.
“There will be articles of impeachment filed before the Christmas break. This, I pledge. We have to participate. This is a participatory democracy. The impeachment requires the hands and the guidance of all of us,” Green said.
Green said, “I am Al Green, an unbought, unbossed, unafraid, liberated Democrat. I will speak truth to power, which is pretty easy to do. You simply say, ‘Power, we have a problem. Let’s solve it.’ I will do that, but I’ll also speak truth about power and say, ‘power, we have a problem, and you’re it.'”

Is ugly an impeachable offense?
Until “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” is fully and exactly defined, impeachment can be for anything the House says it is.
The Speaker must recognize the member and rule whether the resolution actually qualifies as privileged.
Isn’t Green mentally defective?
The only solution I see is for the Republicans to “git gud” at lawfare. Unless and until they do the Dems will persist in their lunacy. Once the GOP can credibly ensure mutual assured destruction they will cease. The average American commits 3 felonies a day. I am sure democrats and politicians commit more, especially democrat politicians. Look closely enough and you can find something to charge anyone with. Remember, “the process is the punishment.” And if the GOP doesn’t start getting some payback from Dems without pardons (and John Bolton doesn’t count) I’m gonna loose what little respect I still have for them. They gotta bring the hurt to those weasels.
