New York Assemblyman Chuck Lavine, a Democrat first elected to state office in 2005, has become one of a handful of unlikely leaders of state efforts to preserve the history of the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol insurrection.
Sitting in front of a bookshelf in his home office in Glen Cove, New York, a historic community just south of the Long Island Sound, Lavine, 78, has a pile of work on his desk — a proposal to establish a deer management program in his county, and material on organizing a youth reading program and promoting a food drive. And while the Jan. 6 riot might have taken place outside his district, Lavine is working to ensure his constituents are fully informed of what happened that day.
He has proposed legislation in New York to require all public school children to receive instruction about the insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.

We do not yet know the role of the FBI during the riot. Were any FBI agents or operatives breaking any laws? Who was Ray Epps working for and why did he receive leniency? Who is the Scaffold Commander? Who brought the noose? Who were the antifa looking guys with handheld radios?

Already the use of that unsolicited qualifying word “insurrection,” a pejorative, sets a negative tone which is highly subjective (2 sides to the story) and shows a high degree of bias if the other side isn't mentioned.
Most the people there did not want to overthrow a legitimate elected government nor side step the US Constitution and workings of our government. This wasn't an ANIFA organized event. They actually DO want to overthrow the US government.
The 6 January protesters, labeled as insurrectionists by Nancy Pelosi fist, wanted the US Constitution enforced and a legitimate government put in office through the workings of government which they see as having failed.
Most the 6 January protesters see themselves as patriots, support the US Constitution, support law enforcement, many served in the military... Labeling them as “insurrectionists” while the FBI's Wray can't label ANTIFA even as an organization is the height of political BS.

I have seen maybe a few hours of the riots. However, maybe only a minute of the CP firing flash bangs, pushing protesters off of ledges, beating a downed woman, scaffold commander, waving in protesters, etc. Now, why is that?
It has been 5 years and we do not know why provocateur Ray Epps got lenient treatment.
