Ukraine forced to cut army under Trump-Russia peace deal

Ukraine will be forced to cut the size of its army under a peace deal agreed between Donald Trump and Russia.

The US president has been working with Moscow on a secret 28-point proposal inspired by the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The White House has told Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, that he must accept the terms of the plan, which will require his country to cede territory, give up some weapons and trim its armed forces, sources have said.

The terms of the deal represent a major concession to Russia and have raised fears that Ukraine is being frozen out of talks about its future by the Trump administration.

Under the proposal, Ukraine could be forced to hand the Donbas to Vladimir Putin, the Russian leader, as part of the negotiations, which have largely excluded Kyiv.

IF the US is willing to use all its leverage to impose this on Ukraine, they have no choice.

Because if the US completely pulls the plug on them, they would collapse very quickly.

Zelensky said no to this already, and Russia denies that it was informed or consulted at all on this thing

... and trim its armed forces, sources have said.

I thought Russia had already trimmed Ukraine's armed forces.

“and Russia denies that it was informed or consulted at all on this thing”

News to me.

Do you have a citation?

“The Russian Foreign Ministry has not received any information from the US through official channels regarding certain “agreements” on Ukraine, which are being reported by the media, Maria Zakharova said in an interview with TASS.”

#1 - Ukraine could be forced to hand the Donbas to Vladimir Putin.

#2 - Ukraine reducing the size of their army.

No deal.

No deal = 100,000 more amputee and dead ukrainian men and a much worse final deal later on

It’ll be much harder for Ukraine to defend their territory. And there’s no guarantee that Putin will not attack again after he signs the ceasefire.

It’s either a deal like this or Ukraine loses everything east of the Dneiper river and, probably, Odessa.

Your position results in 100,000+ more dead and maimed ukrainian men.

And far more territory lost in Ukraine and far more concessions made, with Russia in a much stronger position to dictate terms.

“28-point proposal”

I see one or two. Where's the rest?

Perhaps. But Russia will have to fight for it. There are no guarantees in a war. In 1917, the Russian Army eventually collapsed.

Oh, there will be a deal. Maybe not this one, but Zelensky is on his way out.

You have heard Russia doesn’t want a ceasefire until an end is negotiated.

The Zeepers are in serious denial of the collaspe of Ukrainian units all across the frontlines. Trump can’t save the fruits of the US Coup fast enough. Should Ukraine continue to retreat all the way to Kiev, Trump will have to write off Trillions in losses for the Deep State.

Ukraine is finished as military dictatorship. The end is in sight.

Zelinski fooled the entire fanboy world who worshiped him. But those of us who followed actual news knew the elimination of the AFU was beginning to alarm even Washington who knows Ukraine has lost.
