Even one of the Oregon reps who actually LIVES IN NEW YORK has the sense to maintain an apartment in the state he supposedly represents.

I’m reminded, every day, that no matter how much I hate these people it’s not enough. They’re despicable.

Their idiot ultraleft constituents will STILL re-elect them. I'll put money on it.

Bang a Chinese spy or threaten to murder children of Republicans, they are all-in. Misgender a transgender lunatic and their career may be over.

Bigger question...they end up in ‘owned’ homes around DC...worth $1-M. How’d they pay or arrange the mortgage?

I believe it is senator Wyden of which you speak.

As a side note, both Sen. Wyden (D OR) and Merkley (D OR), were standing behind Schumer when he spoke about the Shutdown. The Schumer, Wyden, Merkley Shutdown.

Lyndon B. Johnson is a good example of the “Don’t look back” US rep. He served six full terms.
He was from the Texas hill country. He returned occasionally to wave his bogus Silver star around, but the hill country was the last place this former school teacher was interested in serving.
It was just his vehicle. The people who founded our country saw public service as an onerous duty; professional politicians today treat it as their career choice.
It’s past time for another constitutional meeting of the states to re-think federalism.
The federal government we created has come to think itself the master.

What about this “ California has a state income tax that applies to individuals based on their earnings, with rates that vary depending on income levels.” Does he pay California State Income Tax? If not, another issue!
