Hemp rule creates turbulence for Senate vote to end shutdown Sen. Rand Paul and others object to policy changes that could stifle a growing industry in his state.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said he would oppose a package that would end the shutdown because it closes a loophole that has enabled the proliferation of widely available intoxicating hemp products, hurting a growing industry in his state.

“I detest the tactics that are being used to try to get this ban enacted into law,” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) told POLITICO. “Kentucky benefits from hemp production, and I fully support Senator Rand Paul’s efforts to strip the unrelated hemp ban from the Senate funding bill.”

The new Senate language would restrict the amount of intoxicating cannabinoids that can be in hemp and products derived from the plant.

DC will juice you up with covid shots, let the sackler family run wild with OxyContin, pay for abortions, etc.

But God forbid natural fiber production. Hint, the kids today are getting genetically modified, hydroponically grown, special hybrid marijuana from labs. They’re not after bulk Kentucky hemp.

I think we know how Rand and Massie are spending their free time. And it explains a lot!

Paul and Massie must be being paid off by some type of drug cartel. Maybe their behaviour could be explained by being under the influence of some chemical.

It's the same reason they push hallucinogens of various types as a “cure all” for everything from depression to Alzheimers.

A drugged and "addled" as you put it, population is more likely to be lazy and compliant.

You can see the results of this if you watch Caleb Hammer.

People who make salaries that would have many of us rejoicing and they "cannot afford" to pay their bills because they have no idea where the money goes.

You can buy imported Hemp rope...so I don’t know how Rand’s objection fits in.

Don’t put Massie overboard because of this. They went after Paul’s life and limb several times and he’s as sold out as it gets at this point.

Massie’s the only one standing up for some good stuff.

“Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said he would oppose a package that would end the shutdown because it closes a loophole that has enabled the proliferation of widely available intoxicating hemp products, hurting a growing industry in his state.” He’s working in the Senate for the benefit of some people in his state...whether they want to partake in cannabis or some fine Kentucky bourbon, well that’s fine, just don’t try meeting me on the opposite side of the road.

But God forbid natural fiber production.

The restrictions and bans are for unrestricted production and sale of high potency thc and other products like delta8 ....

not hemp as a fiber

your fake news distraction is pretty easy to dispute if someone looks it up
