Zohran Mamdani’s freebie-filled agenda didn’t extend to his victory night party that featured a pricey cash bar for his throngs of supporters – including $13 beers.
The jubilation at the Brooklyn Paramount was fueled by Mamdani’s win over former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa – as well as espresso martini coolers that reportedly cost $22 and $15 glasses of Riesling white wine.

His millionaire supporters can afford them.
I thought Mohammedans are prohibited from drinking alcohol.
What is surprising here? Mamdami is a rich snob pretending to care about the common man when in fact he cares about the Muslim Brotherhood.
Over time if his wife dons a Hijab and slowly alcohol is removed from his new offices we will know that the great transition to Islam is happening. Watch for it folks.
I just watched an old TV show on the Castro brothers, the other day - Fidel and Raul. They were born with silver spoons in their mouths, too. I guess “standing out” and “rebelling” means becoming a Communist.
...... What's the matter with him??? .... Why didn't Mamdani subsidize the bar out of his own pocket to make it more affordable to the attendees??? .... Because that is exactly what he is about to do to the whole city of New York and beyond ......
.
It gives you a hint as to how affordable the city run grocery stores will be.

Liberals are tight as a drum with their own money.
Nearly all great social/communist rebellions are lead by those with silver spoons in their asses.
“The Prophet Muhammad also instructed his followers at the time to avoid any intoxicating substances—(paraphrased) “if it intoxicates in a large amount, it is forbidden even in a small amount.” For this reason, most observant Muslims avoid alcohol in any form, even small amounts that are sometimes used in cooking.
“Buying, Serving, Selling, and More
The Prophet Muhammad also warned his followers that participating in the alcohol trade is forbidden, cursing 10 people: “...the wine-presser, the one who has it pressed, the one who drinks it, the one who conveys it, the one to whom it is conveyed, the one who serves it, the one who sells it, the one who benefits from the price paid for it, the one who buys it, and the one for whom it is bought.” For this reason, many Muslims will decline to work in positions where they must serve or sell alcohol.”

When all the financial businesses flee NYC, there will be a ton of real estate on the market, making it more affordable!
Genius!
“Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) declaring in Sahih Muslim, ‘Every intoxicant is unlawful, and whatever intoxicates in large quantities, a small quantity of it is also unlawful.’”
“The Quran and Hadith unequivocally forbid alcohol consumption, labeling it both harmful and ritually impure (*najis*). Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:90-91) explicitly states, ‘O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone altars [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful. Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer.’”
