Yesterday, while most of the country was focused on various elections, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was in the news for remarks she made during an appearance on the Caleb Hammer Podcast.
Whitmer said that she doesn’t want to ‘relive’ the policies she put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic. Isn’t that a surprise? She probably hopes most of the voters forgot about them.
Michigan was one of the worst states for crazy Covid rules.
FOX News has details:
Gretchen Whitmer confronted on ‘weird’ COVID restrictions, says she did her best with poor information
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Mich., was confronted about COVID-19 restrictions in Michigan during a conversation on Caleb Hammer’s “Financial Audit” show as the pair discussed the state’s finances.
“I was a little annoyed when I came home for Christmas two years in a row. Like we had to eat outside, but we were in inside pods outside. It was a little weird, then I came back here, and then I could just do whatever,” Hammer told Whitmer.
Hammer, who has more than 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube, has blunt conversations with guests about their finances on “Financial Audit,” and Whitmer was his first political guest, according to his social media. Hammer has invited other governors and federal officials to come on the show as well.
Whitmer agreed and said it was weird, and added, “Remember what the temperature was. Here [in Texas], you can walk around outside all day, right? But at home, in Michigan, in the winter, we’re all inside breathing on each other.”
“But if I was allowed to be inside outside, why couldn’t I just be inside inside?” Hammer asked.
Whitmer said that he was “inside outside” with just a small group of people, though Hammer added that he was around servers and busers as well.

See, it's only going up. COVID took a little bit. Okay, fair enough.
It was hard. Yeah, I was a little... I'll be honest, I was a little annoyed when I came home for Christmas two years in a row. Yeah, like we had to eat outside, but we were in inside pods outside.
It was a little weird that I came back here and then I could just do whatever. Well, that was a bit weird. I'll be honest.
Well, but remember what the temperature was. Here you can walk around outside all day, right? At home, in Michigan, in the winter, we're all inside and breathing on each other. But if I was allowed to be inside outside, why couldn't I just be inside inside? Because you were inside outside with just your small group of people.
And the servers and bussers. Listen, Caleb, none of us wants to go back and relive that. We were doing the best we could with very little or very bad information.
They have scrubbed the Internet of photos of Gretchen partying at a bar while the peasants are locked down and force-vaccinated. This is the closest I could find:
Gretchen was doing the best she could with very little moral bearing or native intelligence.
Her narcissistic arrogance didn’t help either.
“Draconian” and ridiculous rules were exactly what we were subject to. We should never let people forgot all of the hardship and unnecessary deaths during the COVID Scamdemic were the fault of leftist dictators, from the Federal government down to the lowest tinpot primary school administrator.
So, any future policies will be even worse...
Whitmer, like most Democrats is a
Sociopath. Look that up.
Check several definitions.
In her case, she doesn’t fit 100%
but enough for you to be afraid
of such a person in a position
of power.
Whitmer defends her authoritarian impulse to ban gardening supplies
Kept hardware box stores open, but you could not buy garden seeds for veggies.
Straight out of the commie playbook, a starving population is easy to control.
Another terrible leftist woman who will turn the state and its guns on you for disagreeing.
> with very little or very bad information.
So she admits it. But she went full retard anyway.
I remember when she banned motor boats on waterways, rowboats were allowed.
She's a typical not very bright but power hungry politician. She reveled in her ability to control the population. She limited what could be bought in stores, she prohibited visits to dying parents in nursing homes, yet required covid sick patients to live there, she required worthless plexiglass partitions in classrooms, and required worthless masks and 'social distancing...and more.
Yet anyone with half a brain knew that none of this actually worked at all.
She was to dumb to think any of this out.
...and she’d like for us to forget them, too.
Exactly right.
