The GOP considers mealy-mouthed moderates to be formidable candidates, which is at odds with their base (and much of the party, really). Unfortunately, Trump actually being in office motivates the crazy cat ladies to vote, which is a big boost to the 'Rats.

That's disturbing, self-defeating, and a horrible long term strategy. I pray this won't be the case in Florida should Byron Donalds be the nominee...

That being said. Byron has been boldly MAGA, at great cost to himself I'm sure on many fronts - both right and left, personal and public. Prayers for him...LORD, please surround him with angels and the best team on the ground possible. Please continue to keep Florida safely in the red AT LEAST!

Winsome Sears has always been tepid about Trump. And from the bit I watched of her on the campaign trail, she was lacking fire and vision.
