Most of that money was used to replace old plumbing, security, and HVAC systems in the East and West wings. Some systems were a century old. Congress appropriated the money.

If you use google to find out how much Obama spent on his basketball court, you find a lot of vague information, dancing around the whole topic, emphasizing that there was a tennis court there, and Obama just modified it, and that a normal person, building a normal basketball court, would spent perhaps $30,000 or so. Google makes it all seem perfectly harmless.
But I kind of assume that Obama and his friends pocketed $375,970,000 and spent $30,000 on a damn basketball court. Probably not strictly accurate. But maybe close?

Of course the same media were delighted with it when it was the Kenyan usurper on the taxpayer’s dollars.

Obama is above the law. Above reproach. He got us used to post constitutional government. We’d better hope we can fix this
