Bill Maher blasts ‘keffiyeh-wearing college kids’ for silence as Hamas slaughters Palestinians in Gaza
Fox News ^ | October 18, 2025 | Madison Colombo

Late-night host Bill Maher is questioning where all the college anti-Israel protesters went as the terror group Hamas continues its wave of violence, turning weapons against Palestinians in Gaza.

On Friday’s episode of "Real Time with Bill Maher," the comedian asked his guest, billionaire businessman Mark Cuban, where "keffiyeh-wearing college kids" went now that Hamas is "shooting everybody."

"Where are the protesters?" Maher asked Cuban. "Suddenly, the keffiyeh-wearing college kids are very quiet," the HBO host noted. "Shooting everybody," Cuban answered and Maher repeated the sentiment.

His comments come after months of student-led anti-Israel demonstrations on campuses across the country. Protesters often chanted anti-Israel slogans and clashed with police, with hundreds of arrests taking place. Some critics said their support of Palestinians blurred the line between anti-war activism and open support for Hamas.

Now, as reports surface of Hamas turning its weapons on fellow Palestinians, Maher is questioning why those same protesters have gone silent.

Footage has circulated online showing Hamas fighters allegedly executing Palestinians in Gaza City’s main square. Reuters reported that Hamas killed at least 33 people in recent days following the group’s truce with Israel to pause fighting in the region.

Seriesly, Bill? Haven't you heard? The government is shut down. Paychecks are not going out. You don't think those people are going to protest for free, do you?

Hamas is an Islamist terrorist organization Bill funded by Qatar for so many years but who enabled the funding to go into Gaza?

Before that the once Soviet-backed Leftist Fatah movement formerly led by Yassir Arafat ruled in Gaza.

It was decided to use the religious fanatics to divide Palestinians in two so Hamas was allowed to come to power some years ago in Gaza.

Who allowed Hamas to take over Gaza in the first place Bill?

Probably 25 years ago I was walking on campus near a couple of college women talking to their kaffiyeh scarf wearing woman friend.

“What does the scarf mean?”

“Well, I really don’t know actually. I think it means someone is for peace in the Middle East. I’m always for peace.”

There was a great article about “it doesn’t matter who dies or why; it matters who does the killing” to get leftist outraged.

The 89% of blacks murdered by blacks in the USA is not newsworthy. One white marine defending against a crazed lunatic black guy is outrageous!

Muslims killing Muslims is not a problem. Indeed, Muslims killing anyone is just fine.

Heck, a Muslim can walk into Pulse, a gay club in Orlando, on “Latin Night” and kill 49 people, wound 53 others — the worst mass murder of gays in USA history, and I doubt a single gay person at the “No Kings” rally would know about it.

So, the Hamas murders of Gazan civilians is not news and leftists done care.

Muzzies have never been able to get along with their own, let alone the rest of the world.

As long as articles keep appearing around Israeli genocide and IDF killing of civilians I’ll keep posting this piece of reality about civilian deaths in warfare. The very fact Hamas and Hezbollah say they can count the number killed means these people were within the boundaries of their control. Any realistic appraisal of their behavior would see they consider civilians as so many biodegradable sandbags possessing utility as political props.

The article I linked to provides a comprehensive appraisal of Gaza deaths.

Exposing the Truth Behind Gaza Casualty Figures: Impressive IDF Combatant-to-Non-Combatant Ratio

The idea of “bringing terrorists to justice” is a breathtaking mockery of any civilized understanding of justice. All four Geneva Accords deal with terrorist organizations and they find no sanctuary anywhere. The feral psychopaths of Hamas and Hezbollah never display the civility required for Geneva Convention definitions for militia, armed force, or volunteer corps, but are so dissociated from country or culture, so committed to butchery that they best match Webster’s definition for a virus. They are not insurgents or freedom fighters, and when captured, certainly not prisoners of war. These killers are not members of an organized resistance movement carrying arms openly, and they have no distinctive identifier. The Geneva Conventions place terrorists beyond the pale, discuss no limits in dealing with their depredations. So, their eradication would come closest to achieving meaningful justice.

The Geneva Conventions, which attempt to grasp rational, moral threads to apply during wars’ barbarity formed the basis for our operations. For my Navy experience helping to pulverize a major enemy base in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam, I especially liked the obvious reading of Articles 28 and 29 of the Fourth Geneva Convention. The VC were responsible for any civilian deaths in the base our ship shelled. Those civilians qualified as Protected Persons within the enemy’s physical control and could not be used to render certain points and areas immune from military operations. The Convention articles are as follows:

ART. 28. — The presence of a protected person may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations.

ART. 29. — The Party to the conflict in whose hands protected persons may be, is responsible for the treatment accorded to them by its agents, irrespective of any individual responsibility which may be incurred.

The passages furnished the basis for rules of engagement we followed when attacking a legitimate military target. The base the SEAL team identified in the U Minh Forest had been continuously used at least since the Vietnamese had fought the Japanese, so families of the VC would have been residents as well. Distance provided me with the blessing of avoiding the cleanup afterwards for the mess I helped create with our 445 rounds of 3”50cal. However, I am certain our task force was effective. We helped to permanently shatter the last intact VC main force unit, forcing it to surrender control the region.

The Left looney people supported Hamas after October 7th. They’re already supporting Hamas again. They’re not very quiet. We hear them loud and clear.

When muzzies don’t have Jews or Christians at hand to murder they are quite happy to murder other muzzies. Do you know why there are so few moderate muzzies in Gaza?! They’ve all been murdered by Hamas!

We all knew and so did President Trump in the recent Middle East peace agreement that the 7th century muzzie barbarians would continue their murderous ways, it didn’t take long. However what these goathumpers did not realize that both Israel and all the Arab countries in the peace agreement are tired of these animals and are going to work together to eliminate them.

Iran’s leaders know they are gonna get the Soleimani treatment before long especially after their nuke plans were literally buried.

Correct. Those around here attacking Israel for “genocide” are silent on this as well.

Which, as you said, points to it all being about generating narratives about attacking Jews/Israel. Nothing to do with supposedly caring about loss of human life.

They blamed it on people who oppose same-sex marriage and men entering women's locker rooms. And they've yet to retract this false rhetoric even after it was fully adjudicated and found he chose it as a large gathering place to kill in the name of ISIS.
