A trucker for a company called "Sandhu," a common Punjabi name in India among Sikhs, killed three people in Ontario, California, after barreling into a line of stopped traffic.
The 21-year-old driver was reportedly on drugs at the time of the crash.

The reason we have to emphasize that this man was driving for a company with a Punjabi logo is because California authorities won't release any details about the man.
The 21 year old driver of this big rig slammed full speed into several vehicles, killing three and injuring several others on a California freeway.
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of DUI and for some reason his identity is not being released.
I’m sure this wreck has… pic.twitter.com/ObzAzlS5sy— Kevin Dalton (@TheKevinDalton) October 22, 2025
The eagle-eyes may have noticed that the truck has a Khanda, a Sikh religious symbol, hanging from the rearview mirror.

Why don't authorities want to release a booking photo? Unfortunately, this does not help narrow down which Indian Punjabi trucking company is at fault. There are multiple trucking companies run by Sikh immigrants in California, including "Sandhu Trucking Services" and "Sandhu Truckline, Inc."
That's not even to mention all the trucking companies called "Sandhu" in other states!
In August, an Indian Sikh was charged with killing three people on a Florida highway white making an illegal U-turn. He has registered with a commercial trucker's license out of California.
Illegal trucker was allowed to stay in America because he feared going home; three people now dead Harjinder Singh was supposed to be deported six years ago. CBS News reported that more than 30,000 Sikhs entered the trucking industry between 2016 and 2018 alone. The Sikh Coalition says more than 150,000 Sikhs driving commercial trucks on American roads and Sikhs own more than 12,000 trucking companies.
The driver in this deadly crash lives in Yuba City, California, and survived with relatively minor injuries. His victims were not as lucky.
From ABC 7:
Eyewitness News learned one of the victims was identified as a 54-year-old man from Upland. His name hasn't been released. The remaining two were severely burned in the crash and have not been identified.
Four additional people went to the hospital as a result of this driver failing to stop for traffic.
The incident comes just days after U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy highlighted a video of a migrant driving a truck down the wrong side of a freeway ... in the dark.
Newsom and Schiff and Padilla want to make sure as many illegals as possible get counted in the makeup of Congressional seats as residents of California. And driver’s licenses are supposed to allow them to be workers to benefit the economy....
...If someone lives long enough to enjoy the economic benefits.
These foreign born people can master enough halting words to okay government benefits to themselves but can’t read English on signs such as “Right Lane To Airport Only. No Return To Thru Traffic Lanes” or “Lane Ends 500 Feet.”
Electric chair him and his turban.
The jist of the story.
California is letting people that shouldn’t be in the country or have a license drive big rigs across the country.
True?
Of course the true culprits here are folks like Newsome and others that create the policies which allow this sort of nonsense.
This stupidity needs to end.
Aren’t CDLs governed by some other federal body?
This driver was high.
It doesn’t matter that the cars were stopped on the highway. If he wasn’t high, he may have reacted earlier / properly. There isn’t even and shared responsibility here. Not supposed to be in this country possibly (shouldn’t have a license), and high, that boy needs to spend a looooong time behind bars so he can ponder the errors in his ways.
Let’s not leave out NY’s “no name given” CDL’s.
I saw a Sikh driving around with a nicely painted “Punjab” on both sides of his car . Are they looking for trouble ?
Lesson to learn: My colleague’s daughter was married a number of years ago and on the way to the reception, an illegal alien T-bone the parents of the groom, killing both instantly. The judge set the bond at $25,000 and released the illegal on bond. He has never been seen again.
Don’t let this guy get out of jail...period. Set his bond at $50,000,000 minimum and you might still see this guy skip bail.
This scene was right out of a horror movie...Bodies smashed beyond recognition...
It does not appear this imported foreigner didn’t even touch his brakes prior to point of impact.
This kind of avoidable deadly carnage stems from these companies hiring the cheapest, least qualified people they could find.....ALL FOR MORE PROFITS...
Greed again...Profits regardless of consequences.
I thought Sikhs abstained from alcohol.
Was west-bound through the pass coming into the east side of Albuquerque on I-40 a month ago. Most of the drivers exceeding the limit or tailgating or weaving in and out of lanes on the steep terrain all seemed to have foreign names or logos on the trucks/trailers.
Should have stayed with the No Alcohol
According to the article: "The 21-year-old driver was reportedly on drugs at the time of the crash."
This one was so bad some of the vehicles were not recognizable. It looked the aftermath of an aircraft crash...
These incidents with Sikhs is disappointing.
I have long thought the Sikh culture & religion was one of the more stable and responsible ones from that area.
If ya gotta break a few eggs in the name of “Diversity” so be it - Your friends the ‘Rat Party and the RINOS.
I'd bet all the families of the victims would consider that the understatement of the year.
While many Punjabi-owned trucking businesses operate within close-knit networks and attract a large number of Indian drivers, they also employ individuals from various other ethnic backgrounds.
Factors influencing hiring
Networking: Many Punjabi trucking companies utilize word-of-mouth recruitment. This has led to strong networks within the Indian and Sikh communities and, consequently, a high percentage of drivers from these backgrounds.
Industry demand: Immigrant drivers, including many from India, have historically filled a labor shortage in the North American trucking industry.
Anti-discrimination laws: Federal and provincial/state laws prohibit employment discrimination based on race, color, or national origin. This makes it illegal for Punjabi companies to have a hiring policy that excludes non-Indian drivers.
Diverse hiring: For example, some trucking companies hire drivers from various groups, such as Mexican, Uzbekistani, and Black individuals.
Groups like the North American Punjabi Trucking Association (NAPTA) focus on improving standards and have addressed concerns about hiring immigrant drivers based on language ability rather than driving skills.
Why does this matter?
Because when you are tired or under stress your primary habits come out.
CBS News reported that more than 30,000 Sikhs entered the trucking industry between 2016 and 2018 alone.
"The Sikh Coalition" says more than 150,000 Sikhs driving commercial trucks on American roads and Sikhs own more than 12,000 trucking companies.
Let me sum it up for you in an effort to avoid all the wordy words....
Profits regardless of consequences...The death and carnage brought here by importing these foreigners into the U.S. has been going on for decades now...It’s still going on because the greed is super strong and they don’t want their golden goose choked off.
