House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries lost his temper and started a verbal brawl in the House hallway on Wednesday after a GOP congressman approached him with a compromise related to the government shutdown caused by the Democrats.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Schumer Shutdown took effect at 12:01 am on October 1 after two measures to avert the government shutdown failed in the Senate.
The measures needed 60 votes to pass. The GOP-backed measure failed to pass in a 55-45 vote – Rand Paul voted with the Democrats.
The Democrats claimed that blocking the bill was necessary to ensure a permanent extension of Obamacare subsidies to prevent health care premium spikes. Of course, the real reasons were to protect the welfare of illegal aliens, surgeries for transgender minors, and more garbage ahead of keeping the government running.

His so called opponent, (Republican) Lawler asks:
“So when are you going to endorse Mamdani?”
Hakeem pretends that he doesn’t hear and turns away.

Cut it off after a minute. So when the embarrassment charge came up why didn’t our guy say “I don’t wear sombreros”. Missed opportunity. We don’t think on our feet.

Don’t know about y’all but I’m surviving the shutdown just fine. In fact, haven’t noticed it. I’m flying later this month, I’ll go to the airport earlier, no big deal.
Suggest the next compromise bill includes a 10% cut from the last offer. If not accepted to the Leftards, offer yet another 10% cut from the last offer. Continue until done. Our debt is out of control, it MUST be reigned in.

This is why I, and a lot of people I know, support the shutdown. Do I really need to finance LBGTQ+ policies in Tanzania? Why not take care of Americans who need help first (e.g., the 100,000 homeless vets) before we fritter our resources away on profit-sucking NGO's owned by the Democrats and the spouses/friends.

I’m flying today. Two sets of Delta flight attendants, one on the plane train in ATL this AM, another set on the flight, told me they have seen no effect on air travel yet from the shutdown.
