President Donald Trump on Sunday blasted a federal judge who blocked his deployment of Oregon National Guard troops, while repeatedly referring to her as a man.
Trump appointed U.S. District Judge Karin J. Immergut, who on Saturday rejected the federal government’s assertion that Portland faced a “danger of rebellion” and that “regular forces” were unable to execute federal law.
Speaking outside the White House, Trump said Immergut “ought to be ashamed of himself.”
“I wasn’t served well by the people that pick judges. I can tell you things like that are just too bad. I appointed the judge and he goes like that, so I wasn’t served well, obviously I don’t know the judge,” Trump said.
“But if he made that kind of a decision, Portland is burning to the ground. You have agitators, insurrectionists. It’s burning to the ground. The governor, the mayor, the politicians are petrified for their lives like that. That judge ought to be ashamed of himself.”

Judge Karin Immergut was officially appointed by President Trump in 2019 — but she was handpicked by Oregon’s two Democratic senators, Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley. Under the Senate “blue slip” tradition, Trump accepted their recommendation as part of a bipartisan deal to fill Oregon’s judicial vacancies. So while she’s technically a Trump appointee, her background is FAR LEFT.

The judge ISN’T ashamed of herself / himself / itself / whatever. The judge doesn’t give a damn.
If a nuke were to be dropped on us, would we be “blocked” by some fornicating judge from responding to it? Of course!
Meanwhile, the Administration meekly waits while this matter is appealed, wasting yet MORE time. And assuming SCOTUS rules in Trump’s favor, what guarantee is there that the ruling wil lbe obeyed?
