A 41-year-old man was arrested on Sunday outside the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C., on charges of possessing a Molotov cocktail and making threats to kidnap or injure people, according to police. The incident comes one week after a man rammed his pickup truck into the front of a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and opened fire with an assault rifle, killing four worshipers and injuring eight others. The suspect was killed in a shootout with police after he set the chapel on fire, burning it to the ground, authorities said.

"The incident occurred as the cathedral was preparing to celebrate its 73rd annual Red Mass on Sunday. According to the cathedral's website, the special Mass is traditionally celebrated on the Sunday before the first Monday in October, which marks the opening of the Supreme Court's annual term."

The Red Mass has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Supreme Court,
It was begun by Pope Innocent IV in 1243 A.D.

Maybe SCOTUS began its terms to coincide with the Red Mass? Doubtful. Catholocism was not very welcome back during the Founding and for some decades after the Potato Famine migration from Ireland.

There are currently six Catholic justices, one Jewish justice, and two Protestant justices.

The Red Mass in DC is timed to the SCOTUS calendar. In other areas and nations the timing is different.

Fiery, but mostly peaceful explosive.

Easy fix
Shoot the bottle in his hand; let God sort things out. If a fiery death was good enough for innocent victims, it seems fitting for him. I will happily donate the tools, ammo and even my time to do the deed.

. According to the cathedral's website, the special Mass is traditionally celebrated on the Sunday before the first Monday in October, which marks the opening of the Supreme Court's annual ….Even as a lapsed Catholic I have never heard of any Mass that celebrates or marks the Supreme Court session.

Pope Innocent IV had an uncanny sense of what would happen later--he realized there would someday be a United States which would have a Supreme Court.
St. Matthew was a tax-collector, not a lawyer, so shouldn't the Red Mass be on the Sunday before April 15?

According to a Louisiana source (the Red Mass in New Orleans is a major event for the Louisiana bench and bar), the Red Mass is celebrated the first Monday of October in Louisiana, California, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Georgia, and DC.
This is the 71st year in Louisiana. It’s a much bigger deal there than it is in Georgia.

Catholic hierarchy is pro-globalist and poses a great danger to our Republic by its influence upon those Justices.
