Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) is blaming leftist groups and his own party for the ongoing government shutdown.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Golden wrote, “This government shutdown is the result of hardball politics driven by the demands far-left groups are making for Democratic Party leaders to put on a show of their opposition to President Trump.”
He added the shutdown is “hurting Americans and our economy, and the irony is it has only handed more power to the president.”
Golden continued:
This fight is ostensibly about health care, so let me be clear: I opposed the GOP’s Medicaid cuts and I want to extend the ACA tax credits. But some of my colleagues in the majority party have reasonable concerns about tax credits going to high-income households. There’s room and time to negotiate. But normal policy disagreements are no reason to subject our constituents to the continued harm of this shutdown.

During an interview on Friday, Rep Adam Smith (D-WA) said Democrats will not vote for the clean CR and then negotiate with Republicans because “we lose our leverage” by doing so, Breitbart News reported.
Meanwhile, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) blamed the ongoing government shutdown on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and pointed to him being worried about losing his post.
He said, “What’s behind the shutdown is you have a scared old man that’s afraid of losing his leadership position, a guy by the name of Chuck Schumer over in the Senate. This has nothing to do with healthcare. This had to do, again, with Chuck Schumer and Democrats’ misguided priorities that put illegals ahead of taxpaying American citizens.”

Sandy Cortez is responsible for the Government Shutdown. She has scared the heck out of Shoomer and Señor Hakeem Skyhook and has them constantly peeing in their Depends. Mazie Hirono from Japan and Pramila the Gorilla from India are in on it too.
Golden is a Leftist, and won the Maine 2nd District. I was up there during the 2017-2018 election cycle in Boothbay, watching a football game in a crowded bar on the water, couldn’t hear the television, but a political commercial came on.
The guy was young clean-cut guy, on the shooting range with an AR-15 (IIRC) and talking about his military service in Iraq. I couldn’t hear it, but it was pretty clear, showing him shooting, then in uniform in Iraq as the commercial progressed. A combat veteran. Gun owner. Seemed pretty good.
I was impressed from the commercial visuals, and even though I had no idea, he seemed to be marketing his campaign to people like me.
So, armed with a strictly visual impression (remember, no sound) I looked him up later that night when I got back to where we were staying, and was aghast at that candidate.
He was the complete antithesis of every single principle I valued. Everything. It was astonishing, the gulf between the visual impression and the facts of the candidacy.
That was the first time I had ever heard of Jared Golden.
And it was the first time I ever heard the term “Ranked Choice Voting”.
When I looked it up, it was clear that Ranked Choice Voting was a Leftist construction to slant elections in their direction.
That has been confirmed for me when I hear it being advocated for by Leftists all over the country.
He won on Ranked Choice Voting. And presented himself shooting guns, clothed in his military garb and such. But he is fully onboard for “assault weapons bans” which means he is anti-2nd Amendment.
And he is a Democrat who supports their policies, which means he has broken the oath he took when he joined the military and became allies with the enemies of the US Constitution.
Screw him.
The BOZO is a complete fraud, evey time he feels pressure from our side he swings a little to the center then when the coast is clear he’s right back under the BACK OF QUEEN NANCY’S DRESS! RCV has twice installed his sorry ass and the OLD Maine GOP put up a weak candidates.... NO LONGER... this time the NEW Maine GOP is going scortched earth on him!
