A journalist covering the “complete lawlessness” in Portland said she was left with a painful black eye when a masked “Antifa-affiliated protester” whacked her in the face with a flagpole.
Post Millennial reporter Katie Daviscourt appeared on Fox News Wednesday night with a big bruise under her right eye suffered while covering the nightly protests outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in the long-troubled Oregon city.
She said she was attacked Tuesday night by one of the “Antifa-affiliated protesters who harass, assault, and threaten anyone who they perceive to be a threat to their cause, including journalists, local residents, and ICE agents.”
“That’s what it’s been like covering Portland for the past four months. Complete lawlessness,” she told host Jesse Watters of covering Portland, which was also the epicenter of the worst Black Lives Matter riots in 2020.
“This Antifa-affiliated subject just started approaching me and waving a flagpole in my face, and then I kind of turn around and that’s when she swung it like a baseball bat and directly hit my eye,” Daviscourt also told Real America’s Voice host Jack Posobiec.
The local police department, she claims, refused to do anything to help.
“I immediately ran to a Portland police officer, hunted down the suspect, chased her through the streets and said, ‘This is my assault suspect, can you guys finally do something?’ and I had eyes on her for about 35 minutes,” she said.
“Portland police refused to come in and make an arrest and I had three officers just standing there, watching me try to hunt down the suspect,” she told Watters.
The Portland Police Department issued a press release Wednesday asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect — but police denied that they refused to help the journalist.

SOMEHOW, IT IS DIFFERENT WHEN IT IS “UP CLOSE & PERSONAL”
journalist?
Surprised the journalist didn’t get arrested for harassing Antifa.
The dialogue liaison officer tried to talk to the suspect, and the suspect ignored the officer and walked away. Any surprise there?
‘Mostly peaceful.’
Portland is officially in full scale revolt, which is why they don’t federal troops there. The fascists are in complete control.
RAT progressive prosecutor. Elected prosecutor. Votes matter.
The good people are filling up with righteous anger. When it overflows, things will be ugly.
The police are there to protect that bad people from the good people.
An example of why PDJT is sending in the National Guard and military; local LEOs are doing nothing to stop the thugs.
Friggin’ Aunt Teefah Fascist pig. I hope the little biatch gets lost in his Ghillie suit and can’t get out.
I need to know more about the journalist before I will know how I feel about this.

While the crowd size of the protestors has dropped, since Trump declared antifa a terrorist group, they still act without any concern of retruibution from portland pd, because the leo leaves them alone, no matter what they do.

Social worker?
Well the Portland cops are probably part time Antifa Schutzstaffel, so why would they interfere?
See the headline. Those antifa lowlifes get the benefit of our “alleged.”
Scumbags have been getting away with violence all these years.
They have to suffer.
Yes reality can’t be hid sometimes.

....
Portlandia was the first city I observed few police squad cars and a large bicycle riding squad.
Told me how unserious that city really was.
