A Republican lawmaker called for the arrest of California Governor Gavin Newsom over an insult that MAGA supporters have also frequently hurled.
Newsom’s press office posted “STEPHEN MILLER IS A FASCIST!” on X on Friday. The post has garnered over 24 million views as of Sunday night.
Many Republicans were quick to criticize the post, including Rep. Nancy Mace, who labeled the post as “violent rhetoric.” Wisconsin congressman Derrick Francis Van Orden went a step further, labeling the post as “domestic terrorism.”
“At this point, this reaches the threshold of domestic terrorism,“ the 56-year-old wrote. ”This is no longer ‘inflammatory’, it is criminal.” Van Orden cited 18 U.S. Code § 2331, adding, “No one is above the law, @CAgovernor.” Advertisement
Van Orden attached a screenshot of the citation, highlighting the conditions of domestic terrorism: “The term ‘domestic terrorism’ means activities that -- (B) appear to be intended -- (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion...”

Democrats don’t know what fascism means. They don’t know what democracy means. But they use these words all the time for their emotional impact.
Dems don’t even know what form of government we have. Why would we think they get the other questions right.

We don't live in the simplistic world world of that nursery rhyme anymore. Deliberate, incendiary, reckless speech IS getting people killed these days.

When the LA fires were raging in January, Gavin rushed into a burning home and reminded the residents that Trump is a threat to our democracy.
That would be libel per se. Unless you have substantive facts to back up your claim, you could kiss your assets goodbye.

Labeling someone a fascist or Nazi has become a Democrat party code word for murder. So yes, it’s incitement to murder for Democrats.
Is Newsom going to write Fascist on his cartridge casings?
