Admitting something wasn't "intentional" does not prove it didn't
happen — in fact, it implies that it did happen. He is admitting
that he DID make light of the murder and that he DID blame a
specific group - but claims that it wasn't his intention. He even
says "for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you're
upset".
Still no apology! Not even a "sorry if you were offended".
Another point is that he doesn't use Charlie Kirk's name.
We don't know who the murdered "young man" is. He could
have been talking about George Floyd or as Jasmine Crockett
would say "some random dead person".

I keep hearing how these shows are actually losing money for their networks.
I’ve heard Jimmy Kimmel’s contract expires sometime next year. It would be very easy for ABC to just say they’re not renewing his contract. That’s similar to what CBS did with COLBERT, as they indicated, they’re not even going to have a late night show anymore after Colbert’s contract expires.

BS. Clowns like Kimmel have a dozen writers for his monologues, which he reads from a teleprompter. What he said was pre written and approved by himself and a dozen writers and producers. Lying bastard.
May 2026...Kimmel’s contract ends. Some talk before this of an extension (say 2 or 3 years). That talk seems to have ended.
Lot of the stations (ABC, CBS, NBC)...seem to see the future...that you as a local station can program better, and find better commercial ‘returns’. I tend to agree.
To be honest...if you ran roller derby, Friday night boxing, stuff like Amish-Mafia(History Channel), etc....you’d do better than presently.
Numbers I saw 2 weeks ago....all three peaked in 2014 on audience numbers. All three have a quarter-to-a-third of the audience of 2014. Where they went? Streaming video.
I say all of this...not watching the BS (I live outside of the US, since 2013). What clips I’ve seen...none of the three are funny any more.
So who has done more damage to the brand, Jimmy Kimmel or the Snow White actress? They could have their own awards show.
Well, I canceled my subscription to ESPN+ after his non-apology. I’ll have to go back to listening to my team’s away games on the radio.
