Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, posted an ironic message on Telegram in which he commented on the appearance of the US president Donald Trump at the United Nations General Assembly, accusing him of casting "a series of political spells" on the theme of Russia's alleged weakness. "Trump has once again crossed the threshold of an alternative reality," Medvedev wrote, referring to a post by the US president that spoke of "Kiev's final victory," "a return to the old borders," "the collapse of the Russian war economy," and "Russia as a paper tiger."
In a sarcastic tone, Medvedev added: “In this reality, Kiev wins, Russia is destroyed, and Ukraine's economy grows confidently thanks to its resources. Even Obama e Biden have lived happily in this reality. But Trump is different. He will come back, as always.” The Russian official concluded by imagining surreal future scenarios: “Perhaps he will offer the green pianist (Zelensky) a capitulation. Or a flight to Mars with Musk. Or something else important to qualify for the Nobel Prize.”
Seems to have a problem with Ukraine having a good economy in the future.
He is Baba Yaga.
How does the Ukraine have any economy at all?
The only pics I see show almost total devastation.
Most draft-age men have already skedaddled or have been drafted. Who is left?
I guess years of failure in Ukraine isn’t supposed to tell us anything about Russia’s military weakness.
Well we will see right now Russian economy is suffering from chronic smoking accidents and
17% interest rates
8% inflation(sure)
22% VAT
Revenue down
Spending abs debt soaring
Dependent on China, NK, and Iran
Major companies in the red
Twice as many companies closing as starting
0 GDP growth(even with massive MIC spending)
Not much of a future
Patton was right.
The US provides money to run the government of Ukraine (offical’s salaries, pensions, emergency services and many others). President Trump said, “You hear ‘Save the Ukraine’ and then you look and what’s left? THere are entire cities without a single standing building. That’s a 120 year reconstruction job.”
Then key infrastructure like sections of power grids are still damaged as are many electronics that were plugged into the powergrid. SO commercial and medical electronics were fried, even in areas where the cities were otherwise intact.
So factories have been taken off line permanently adn there are so many other disruptions - the employees have no where to work, have left as refuges, or have died on the front lines.
Zelensky said Ukraine needed $40 billion for budgetary support for the year, in addition to his request from the US of over a billion in military ‘gifts’. Without that kind of support, the Ukraine’s government and essential services cease to operate.
This is what Kiev calls ‘winning’.
Trump was regurgitating the EU's propaganda back at the Europeans as a reason why they must takeover responsibility for the war in Ukraine.
Ukraine no chance of getting any territory back for the reasons Trump has articulated in the past.
But we were told right here just today that Russia’s economy was much stronger than “Trump’s economy.” https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/4342376/posts
It looks to me like Ukraine is getting a good old-fashioned ass-whipping. Their infrastructure is barely functional, it looks like.
“Seems to have a problem with Ukraine having a good economy in the future. “
Yes, that’s ridiculous isn’t it ?
Ukraine’s ENTIRE lifeblood is money from the West, mostly US taxpayers.
pls stop spewing clueless bullSchiff (sorry, I know it is your nature)
“But we were told right here just today that Russia’s economy was much stronger than “Trump’s economy.””
LOL! Posted by delta7 ‘everythingaboutRussiaisgreat’ Armstrong.
You're either knowingly lying or ignorant of Russia's military goals.
There is sole land objectives were building a land bridge from Crimea to mainland Russia (which was accomplished in less than eight months) and liberating Donetsk and Lugansk, which is pretty much been done.
Beyond that, destroying the Ukrainian military has been the goal in the event they had to take more territory and the Russians are well on their way to accomplishing that.
You're typical brainless Zeeptard.
No. He wasn’t. He should have stuck to what he knew best- armored warfare, not geopolitics.
Don’t tell me what to do.
Ukraine had a fine economy until Russia attacked, and certainly will again if Russia gets the hell out.
Keep up your insults it’s all you have.
Take your Russian propaganda and shove it.
You told me TWO YEARS AGO that the Ukrainian Army had been obliterated and the war would be over in FOUR WEEKS.
I guess that’s what Russia wants you to say.
How can you even show your face after more than three years of Putin murdering Russian youth in a disgraceful failure?
You GUARANTEED 2 years ago the Ukraine army was already destroyed.
Now two years later, your explanation is that Russia is working on destroying the Ukraine army.
Disgraceful.
