British workers would see their wages rise under Reform's plan to end firms' decades-long reliance on cheap foreign labour, Nigel Farage vowed yesterday.
Under his 'very bold' plan to restrict legal migration, the party leader said if he becomes Prime Minister foreign nationals will no longer be able to come over for low-paid jobs leaving locals 'priced out'.
He also outlined proposals to cut benefits for all migrants with settled status. In order to claim benefits they would need to have British citizenship.
Mr Farage said a Reform government would force UK firms in sectors reliant on overseas staff to apply for new Acute Skills Shortage Visas and pay a levy to train Britons to do the jobs in future.
The proposals form part of Mr Farage's plan to stop some 800,000 recent arrivals from settling by scrapping the immigration status of Indefinite Leave to Remain...

Nigel, you need a massive repatriation effort to send immigrants back home. Anything short of that and you’re screwed, and Britain as we know it will be history.
I think one of the biggest mistakes Britain made was joining the E.U. That’s when they got a large influx of people from all over Europe to work there. When I went to the British Isles in 2005 and 2006, a large number of the people working in the hospitality industry that I experienced during the 3 week bus tour I took were foreigners. When we visited the Isle of Skye, the restaurant at the hotel we stayed, had Czech and Poles waiting on us. They couldn’t understand English, so we had to point to the items on the menu that we wanted. The ferry we took from Pembroke, Wales to Waterford, Ireland was manned completely by Poles.

Immigration is a scourge on the working class. Immigration virtue signaling is fun but damaging.
The income tax on the lowest rate might be made refundable on a needs and age basis. It would provide the “safety net” function. It could be invested in government bonds to earn tax-free interest income.
The retirement age might gradually be raised as the amount paid in gets increased. If you don’t claim on a needs basis, your old age benefits would not take a hit.

Cap Section 8 for a household at:
1. 40% of the HUD fair market one-bedroom rent for the first adult,
2. 30% of the HUD fair market one-bedroom rent for the second adult,
3. 10% of the HUD fair market one-bedroom rent for the first child,
4. 10% of the HUD fair market one-bedroom rent for the second child.
Make welfare payment for a child other than the first of a mother only payable after age 2.
Make disability payments for children under 18 payable only to school districts.
Have additional welfare benefits come out of a federal lifetime fund, say $10,000 upon which interest at the CPI growth rate plus 3% might be paid so it doesn’t get all used up ASAP.
SNAP benefits, other housing help, Obamaphones, juvenile criminal court costs, Medicaid ER human provider service costs, possible student loan write-offs, and the first year of Social Security retirement benefits would all come out of it.
To pay for that $10,000, the standard Social Security age thresholds might be raised by one year and then by say one month every four years as the interest compounds for a real gain of 3% per year. Working people would to a great extent get retirement benefits on time. Moochers would lose at retirement age considerably more than they mooched earlier. It wouldn’t generally pay off to mooch.
NOTE: If welfare benefits were not paid to illegals, the entire invader household could only get 20% of the HUD fair market rent on two US-born kiddies.

The life of alien residents who did not arrive with a visa should be crimped to make it desirable to go home ASAP:
1. no citizenship possible
2. only one basic cellphone without useable internet capability
3. outbound calling limited to 60 minutes a month
4. inbound calling limited to 200 minutes a month
5. can’t have video devices in your residence or cable service to your residence
6. no license of any kind
7. no driving a motorized vehicle on a public road
8. no ability to fly to a destination in the USA
9. employers to pay a tax rate increasing year by year of residence in the USA on earnings not paid into your return home fund
10. return home fund to be distributed:
a. for purchase of a non-refundable one-way ticket out of the USA specifically for yourself, or a dependent,
b. on personal collection back home,
c. amounts of twice the typical monthly apartment rent in a three-day period between the 15th and 28th of the month to be collectable in each month the State Department rates your country below 4 after the initial two, or on your request,
d. unclaimed amounts to be forfeited
11. no interest to be paid on your return home fund.
Number 5 probably should be: No cable, fiber-optic or satellite service to your residence.
I guess anything is better than Two Tier, but Farage is still pretty lame.

Your idea is a good one, as it prevents Democrats from channeling money mainly to their base.
