It’s always problematic when a relativist claims to be the sole source of truth. ChatGPT defines relativism as: “Relativism is a philosophical stance suggesting that truths, values, or knowledge are not absolute but are instead relative to a specific cultural framework, historical context, or individual perspective.” Trust me, no one makes it clearer that his “truth” is based on a particular, secular, cultural framework, distorted historical context, and above all a twisted individual perspective on life than the current cultural pontificator, Barack Obama.
After Charlie Kirk’s brutal assassination, Barry hung up his paddleboard to post this on X:
We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.
Touching, albeit still clearly unaware that a constitutional federal republic is not a “democracy,” Obama knew and still knows exactly what motivated the shooter to orchestrate a live-streamed execution in front of 3,000 spectators. Tyler Robinson’s trans-defensive murder was the kind of suggestive hostility that the former president and his party have been inciting for decades.
Kirk was publicly executed, and on cue, the left has responded by using tragedy as a platform to promote progressive ideas.
After witnessing a 31-year-old husband and father of two small children have his jugular vein sliced by a bullet, malicious individuals chose to exploit the horror for entertainment on social media, partisan editorials, and late-night jokes.
In response, respectable business owners and many corporations have stated that such poor character may not be the qualities they want in their workforce.
Based on his habit of dominating the content of every discussion, ironically, rhetorically coercive Obama is now making it his patriotic duty...

Sure it’s free speech. And they can be sued for it too.
No, the left will rationalize it as "their truth."

Yes, “misinformation” is free speech unless it is defamatory.
Misinformation got him murdered
It’s all politics, all BS, all the time, with the MSM-Democrats.
Anyone who takes their screeching seriously is a fool.
Wouldn’t it be funny if Tyler Robinson sued all these folks for defamation for saying he’s MAGA?
lol. He wanted to be the hero of the left; these liars are screwing that up.
Just to clarify — what I think you meant is that misinformation was spread about Charlie kirk, and that misinformation contributed to the assassin’s motivation.
Because by itself, the statement “Misinformation got him murdered” could be interpreted to mean that Charlie Kirk uttered misinformation, and that it led to someone killing him.
Queue Hillary spouting to lock up anyone for mis information.
Queue up all the protests against free speech.
Queue up people happy that people were being banned from social
Media for expressing views against liberals.
Now I guess mis information is ok and so is free speech.
Defamation is not protected speech.
I wouldn’t sugarcoat it.
They are deliberate outright lies.
Yes, it is absolutely free speech to be wrong, or even to deliberately lie. In some situations you incur civil liability. But unless it is a direct call to immediate violence, it isn’t criminal.
And thank god. Every one of us who pointed out the stolen election, the covid scam and more would have been arrested.
The Mockingbird Media has felt free to lie for the last 60+ years.
Are they complaining that they need to lie more?
They were getting around to arresting all of us. They had a good start going !
Unfortunately.
Such a bitter irony.
The First Amendment does not protect falsehoods that are deliberate or reckless. For example, calling Jimmy Kimmel a pedophile would not be protected by the First Amendment because it would be false and defamatory even if one claimed to have relied on and simply repeated an internet rumor.
Yes of course that’s what I meant.
Free speech is whatever the hateful leftist radicals say it is. The rest of us must be silenced. Remember friends, “conservatives seek agreement while liberals demand compliance”. L.Star
You can still stay it.
The government is not allowed to muzzle you.
But freedom of speech does NOT mean freedom from consequences.
People are about to get a badly needed civics lesson.
