Polish defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz has rejected a suggestion by Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky that Poland would not be able to protect its population from a mass Russian drone attack. He called the remarks “unnecessary and untrue”.
During an interview this week with British broadcaster Sky, Zelensky was asked about drone defences in his own country and in Poland, which last week saw its airspace violated by around 20 Russian drones.
He noted that, during one recent attack, Ukraine had faced 810 Russian drones and had shot down over 700 of them. By contrast, Poland “had I think 19 drones and they destroyed four”.
The Poles “are not at war, that’s why its understandable that they are not ready for such things…And of course they can’t save [their] people if they will have a massive [drone] attack”, he added.

This week, Polish media reports revealed that a house in eastern Poland damaged during the incident was not hit by a Russian drone, as initially claimed, but by a missile fired at a Russian drone by a Polish F-16 aircraft.Being the skeptic I am, I looked to verify. Indeed this small alternation in the story is being under-reported and this POLISH source, their address being "Chocimska 7 / 8 30-057 Kraków, Poland," offers an interesting "rest of the story" details. Oops.
The facts are simple, no western nation has enough missiles to counter the Russian drone swarm attacks. Anyone closely following can see 6-800 plus drones hitting Ukraine every other night. Vlad’s attacks are intensifying, not decreasing.
Here we are again, attrition. Russia is manufacturing thousands of drones and missiles a week. The million dollar Western missiles are being “ attrited “ by Russia’s cheap thousand dollar drones.
If anyone believes St Z’s constant claims of shooting down 900 out of every 800 Russian drones, they are fools.

If people don’t see a threat or get tired of wasting their money on this pointless war, where does that leave Ukraine which DEPENDS on foreign aid to keep this war going?
Ukraine has a war paid for by the political charity of western politicians that today try to hide what is being spent and delivered there.
In the beginning when it was cool and everyone was supporting it, our politicians would list all the items sent, tell of the billions provided and make sure they are seen shaking hands with Mr.Z. now, not so much.
Now that the war is unpopular (polls went negative 2024) but we are committed, our politicians put a secret stamp on it all and send our money and equipment there anyway even without a photo op shaking his hands. LOL
Those lies have been happening the whole way. A Russian drone will get hit by defense ordinance, go off course and hit a civilian building. That then becomes an “attack” on civilians.
Poland has amassed the largest land army in Europe. They are totally ready to defend themselves.
While there are tragic mishaps in war, the propaganda machine always cranks out something. Now that Polish sources mention "a missile fired at a Russian drone by a Polish F-16 aircraft," it will be interesting to learn whether 1) the "it's a lie" ploy will be used, 2) the memory hole will receive another news item to be forgotten, or 3) other details will arise.
I noticed one in verbiage, as one report said "dropped" in regard to this un-exploded ordnance. Were I commanding a wing, and a pilot dropped un-exploded ordnance, it would not be said to be "a missile fired at " anything.

The current figures are a standing army of 150,000 strong. Ukraine at the beginning of the war was 850,000 ( Territorial para groups included).

Why would Russia send a piddly 20 drones at Poland? What was the target? Were they really from Russia?
The Russians aren’t stupid. They have no reason to attack Poland while they are occupied with the Ukraine — unless Poland’s leftist government openly attacks them first.

Last night I listened to an experienced war correspondent and pro-NATO podcaster who should know better, claim the claimed F-31 incursion over Estonia was done by Russia to hype up how tough they were to the Russian people. I decided to check that out. Instead I found the opposite - that Russian media are calling the NATO reports lies and propaganda.
