1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints

Christians are the church. I don’t like the way Catholics twist the Bible. If they don’t like something, they remove it. The second commandment comes into mind. This way they can worship their statues.

Catholic Church simply doesn’t canonize non-Catholic Christians (although they recognize those canonized by the Orthodox Church). At most, Charlie will get a title of “Martyr of Christian faith” like they honored Boenhoffer.

His pastor friend was Calvary Chapel.

Jack Hobbs, Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, but I don't think that was his home church.

“Charlie Kirk was not a Roman Catholic, so why would they make him a saint.”

It doesn’t matter that he wasn’t a Catholic. In addition to everything else he did, he was actively spreading the word of God and got killed because of it. I think there’s a very good chance that nomination for sainthood is going to happen, and I sure hope it does.

That is NOT something Charlie would have wanted. It is the opposite. I hope it does not happen.

Nice to read this from a Catholic Christian

"The more I learned about him, I thought this guy is a modern-day Saint Paul. He was a missionary, an evangelist, a hero."

When a religious point needs to be made, on Fox News they dredge up a Roman Catholic to make it

You need two miracles to qualify for sainthood. Charlie’s are in the works. Trump has already worked his when he made those two speedboats disappear

He’s literally reviving Christianity among the youth. He did it in life and now 10x in death.

I’ve never seen anyone having such influence. It’s a game changer.

What bothers me, the Church has been asking for a long time, “what can we do about the declining attendance?”. Yet, here was their answer underneath their feet and they didn’t even realize (or know) it.

That is exactly what has been wrong with Christianity in the modern world. It had no effective response to the rapidly changing culture. Charlie understood modern culture and was able to articulate the problems with where we’ve reached, and why, in respectful way.

This was a previous post. It is still true.
