Gun control activist and former Democratic National Committee vice chair David Hogg said in a social media thread Saturday that he wants his death politicized “before my blood runs cold,” contrasting with slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who had told his wife he hoped to be remembered for his “courage and his faith.”
Hogg, who survived the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, wrote on X:
“If I ever get killed by one of these right wingers politicize the f*ck out of my death immediately (I’m talking before my blood runs cold) and use it to pass as many gun laws as possible and raise as much money as you can to primary Dems who refuse to support gun laws.”
“I’m saying this because I know Fox News will say it’s wrong to politicize my death and it’s too soon. Fuck that. It’s too late.”
“Also use that money to defeat republicans who don’t support stronger gun laws too obviously.”
“I’m getting this out there just in case. We live in a crazy world. But I’ll be damned if they say I wouldn’t have wanted people to act immediately.”

Hogg must think anyone would care if he expired.
Well dork, conservatives don’t kill those we disagree with. That’s the left’s policy.
You’re safe. Unless you walk in front of a bus you’ll live die old and anonymous
Hogg needs to pipe down. There are many Antifa types who would pull a false flag martyrdom op on him just to take guns away from patriots.
Buzz Off Twerp
David Hogg’s name in the same sentence with Charlie Kirk should be a crime.
That... And the fact that David Hogg is more valuable to the conservative movement alive than dead.
I know right? Does this dude want to hog the spotlight? Why the heck is he weighing in with such a stupid comment?
Nobody kills lightweights
Well, you just did it. What’s a fitting punishment?
Survived what shooting..?
The despicable CNN said twice today (in the 2 minutes I watched) that “both sides of the political spectrum have had victims of political violence.”
BS.
Scalise was close to getting killed, Rand Paul suffered pain with every breath from broken ribs and a punctured lung and Charlie Kirk is dead.
CNN means some state legislator a few years ago——not a lot of “both sides” on the list.
And a female in the US Congress brought up “January 6th” but the “deadly” day meant a heart attack in addition to the actual murder of Ashleigh Babbitt by Byrd-—for which he got a promotion and a book deal along with lots of smiles and pats on his back.
My G-d.
“President” Hogg reminds me of my (rescue) dog having a temper tantrum whenever he realises I’m concentrating on something other than him.
“Whine whine whiiiiiine! You’re not paying attention to meeeeeeee! Whine whine whiiiiiine!”
His 15 minutes of fame are gone so now he fantasizes he’ll go down in a blaze of glory to be always remembered.
You don’t even see conservatives give the middle finger to those with leftist bumper stickers on their cars. Not likely anyone is going to risk a life time in prison and commit a horrible sin to remove a non factor from society.
“Look at me…hey look at meeeeee”
I thought he started a pillow-biting company?
Many say that the reason Ted Kennedy was not murdered was that he was not worth the cost of the bullet.
That would mean the Fat Heavyweight was really a, “lightweight!”
The heart attack deaths of two patriots were likely triggered by the flash bang grenade that exploded near their heads.
One cop had a stroke, another committed suicide a few days later.
Roseanne Boyland was beaten to death by a DC Metro cop.
Their argument holds no water.

Then I guess he agrees with those on the right who are using Kirk’s assassination as a teaching moment to point out how dangerous and intolerant the left is. Thanks for the endorsement, Hogg. We’re just doing what you would want your side to do if the situation were reversed (except in our case, we’re fighting back with words not with riots).
