President Donald Trump suggested on Friday his administration will pursue federal charges against billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, part of a long history of threatening his political opponents with criminal proceedings.
“We’re going to look into Soros,” Trump said on “Fox & Friends,” “because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people.”
“Because this is more than like protests,” Trump added. “This is real agitation. This is riots on the street. And we’re going to look into it.”
Trump previously floated charging Soros and his son under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act in August on Truth Social for allegedly organizing resistance to the administration’s immigration crackdowns and deployments of federal troops in U.S. cities.
Trump has not presented evidence of the claim. Open Society Foundation, which was founded by Soros, wrote in August that the group does “not support or fund violent protests,” calling the threats of prosecution “outrageous.”
Trump’s latest comments come amid calls from Trump allies for a major crackdown on liberal groups, which they claim are culpable for the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk earlier this week. Law enforcement had not revealed any information about a suspect, including any potential motive.
Trump said following Kirk’s killing that he would “find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it.”

This should happened a long time ago. But it may be difficult to track Soros. He is probably financing NGOs. So the evidence may not be there.

The headline says “Calls For” but reading the piece indicates a suggestion that an investigation be undertaken to look into it. A little difference. A REAL fascist dictator would just have him gulagged. A REAL naughtZee, same thing.

and the DSA has also sent reps to visit with Maduro in Venezuela, as well working with the Hamas front CAIR. Maduro had even at that time a good relationship with the MS13 bunch who was cavorting with an Qaeda in the triborder region of S. America. DSA is a huge promoter of illegal immigration and is chock full of arab Marxists. Even connected to the Imam’s mental case son who was trying to create a training camp in the Arizona desert for kids.
Has anyone looked into salvadoran “Maryland Father” Garcia for a relationship with the DSA? If he was a DSA activist that would explain why the left has gone all out disproportionately trying to save him while not really doing anything nearly as aggressively for other illegals.
I despise Soros but he certainly has every right to support whatever misguided even dangerous candidates for office as anyone else. He has every right to organize others to protest against or in favor of policies set by Trump.
Unless it can be shown he knew in advance about plans to riot and helped facilitate them there is very little chance of a RICO charge being brought against him. Even if he gave money to groups which later were shown to be involved in riots that is not proof that Soros had knowledge of intent and encouraged it.
Agitation is a nonsense allegation in the context of a person using his Constitutional rights to use every legal means at his disposal to oppose a political figure’s policies. Even Trump’s.
And don’t forget many of those who turned a blind eye while their cities were destroyed got in office by the will of the people who decided empty promises were worth the destruction.
Who "sponsored" him? What special qualification(s) or connection(s) did he have? I'm not talking about vague gossipy rumors, but facts. For a guy supposedly "wanted" by nations considered somewhat hostile to each other, he has always remained comfortably un-extradited. to either "friend" or "foe."

Now is the time to jail Soros. WHO, will scream and yell, who cares. The world will cheer and Trump will gain 10 points
