Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson was raised a devout Mormon — yet fired his fatal shot at Kirk just moments after the conservative influencer had glowingly praised the Church of Latter-day Saints.
“I love how Mormons send missionaries around the world, I love how polite they are. … Half my team is Mormon,” Kirk, 31, said to huge cheers from the crowd at Utah Valley University moments before he was allegedly killed by the 22-year-old trade-school student.
“Mormons are great people. Let me just say, I’m an evangelical Christian, but I’m not one of those guys that hates on Mormons,” Kirk said.

The accused killer “went to our church when he was younger,” neighbor Kristin Schwiermann, who knew Tyler and his parents, Matt and Amber, told The Post.
“I was a head custodian for 18 years in at Riverside Elementary he went to Pine View High School,” she said, adding that she knew Amber Robinson through the church and the school and was stunned by the news.
“I just know that [Tyler] carried himself nicely. He was very nice. He was smart. I hear he had a full-ride scholarship [to college]. … I was shocked that this was even him.”
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints issued a statement in the wake of the tragic news but before the alleged killer had been identified as Mormon.

There are lots of evil people raised in religious households. Mormonism is a cult and just because he was raised as one doesn’t mean he was destined to be a good person.
I believe leftists target these young Mormons to radicalize them.

It seems so easy to fall into evil rabbit holes on the internet these days, especially for younger people.
I worry about the other Tyler Robinsons out there and those yet to be radicalized.
Charlie was doing God’s work fighting against it. God blessed him with unique talents for the work and he used them to great affect.
May others be inspired by his example to fill the breach!

The Mormons I know are wonderful people. I would love to live in a neighborhood of Mormons.
At the core of leftism is mental instability and a distorted, agonizing way of thinking that leaves the individual troubled, raging and unhappy. The politics of the left, repugnance and opposition to harmony, decency and order, creates a framework that satifies these warped individuals. Suspect their condition has nothing to do with their family, religion or upbringing. But probably has its basis in some recessive gene that affects neuro pathways.They are not insane and understand the consequences of their actions.
Unfortunately such people are often capable of such violence and have no conscience or regret for their actions.
Being raised a Mormon is meaningless. What counts is how he is brainwashed by the surrounding culture. The Mormon teachings are not what made this guy so angry, it’s his brainwashing by the democrat/communists.
